This place is pretty large and they have the largest screen array I have ever seen but it's all a bit awkward. The table we were at made it difficult to watch the game and feel like we were in a social environment with the rest of our table. The only TV we could really see was the huge array so we all had to turn with our backs to each other. Places like Allstar don't have such huge TVs but they have way more options for different angles to watch the game. The chicken quesadillas were miserably small for 130kr. They were tasty enough though. They often stay open late for big games -- probably not just Boston sports but I was there till 2 or 2:30am one Sunday night to watch a New England Patriots playoff game. So I'm happy there is an option for that here. OBS! They charge like 55kr for a fountain soda. Ridiculous. There is also a bowling alley, arcade, billiards, and stadium seating for a giant projection screen here. Some of it can be a nice distraction while you are waiting for a game or celebrating a win. I guess. Being a Boston native there is something about selling our sports heritage in a country where none of the waitresses would have a clue about anything they are claiming to be about. Anyone from the States knows how seriously we take our sports and you would never walk into a Boston sports bar and not be able to joke with your waitress about a recent game or how so and so is playing. And the walls are literally lined with Boston sports memorabilia. It's a conflict ... kind of cool to see and also strikes a nerve.

I like that the bartenders are playing what they want and in general it was good music but almost every time I've been the playlist is a bit short and repeats 2-3 times during an average couple hour session. It's a small complaint and I have no idea how the bartenders can listen to a short playlist on repeat all night! Anyways, I think this is a great place to hangout in the city. The bar is small, unassuming and finds itself on a street filled with conspicuous, Italian restaurants hosting happy hours for corporate Swedes. The bar is a standout for the drinks, the trademark Swedish charisma and genuine warmth. As a side, shout out to Sweden for having the nicest, most welcoming people in the world. We were given a standing table when we got in, but quickly moved to a couple of seats by the bar. We were one of 8 couples at the bar, so yes, very date night vibes. For our first round of drinks, we got the Easy Martini and Let them Eat Cake. The latter was too sweet for our liking but the Easy Martini had the perfect amount of sweet and tart. Our second round was the winner with the Girl Dinner and their Old Fashioned. The Girl dinner was crafted to perfection and possibly the best version of a martini we've ever had. The old fashioned too, made with WhistlePig 10 years was fantastic. The service cannot be faulted, we profusely thanked the lovely bartender, vowing to crow about it to whoever cares to listen and to be back when we are in Stockholm next.
