Ended up coming here for the first time. A girl called aly ended up helping me get some products. She was very kind and friendly. Really like the energy here. Highly recommend on going. Will come again read more

Came in here on a random Tuesday after passing it for years, budtenders were friendly but security was unnecessarily rude. Then I got home and the container I got seemed damaged. The seal was still intact but it still felt weird. And unfortunately the weed was pretty boof. read more

Great customer service. Great products. Friendly, knowledgeable employees. Definitely recommend. read more

they don't give you back the cash advances for debit or credit purchases which normally becomes two dollars here or three dollars there . I think it's best to just pay cash and avoid debit or credit purchases. I feel like I'm not the only one not getting that cash advance back I don't complain about it. I just want to be brought to attention. I'm all for tips, when the occasion hits. read more

I stopped here like four different times and all the workers gave me a runaround about the managers being here at a certain time and they're never there and they always come up with a different excuse. A bunch of petty ass liars in that place. read more

Everyone I spoke to at this dispo were so kind and extremely helpful. I'm sad I forgot my budtender's name because he was fantastic and gave me great recommendations. I saw him today around 8:30pm though. I've never been more happy with a strain I had never tried before. He actually wanted me to get a product I liked. This is now my favorite dispo in NoHo! read more

I just want to say I love the entire staff, except for the new security hairs Eric. his demeanor is completely wrong and disrespectful. I have always chosen to make the 30 minute, drive, passing many dispensaries Because I have always enjoyed my interactions with everyone. my interaction with Eric and the way he spoke to me.... like he was better than me, and I didn't even deserve the simple respect of another human being. he should understand that while he is a security gaurd, he is also the first impression when people visit. needless to say, i won't be making those long drives anymore. read more

Had a short living stint in Sun Valley; came across this dispensary whilst exploring the city, (I've lived in multiple cities in the SFV, first time in SV) and I was very impressed upon entering. The lobby was clean and the security guard behind the plexiglass was friendly, attentive and informative. I received a discount for being a FTP, (can't remember exactly what my percentage off was) and left with an 1/8th of some flower for only 20! I went back a few more times thereafter, once for a 1g vape cartridge of some fire Jack Herer and another for a STIIIZY vape battery; each time only spending $20, (cash, mind you) OTD! I loved the ambiance inside; it's clean, colorful and temperatures are nice, whether it's hot, warm, cold, or freezing outside lol. The budtenders were also knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming, making sure not to rush me any time I stepped in. If you're in the area and looking for some quality products, service and price points, the. you should DEFINITELY check out ROOTS read more

This place sells reggie! The displays are below par, the selection of flower is limited, they say there is a 25% discount Monday thru Wednesday but I never experienced it. I was even supposed to receive at least 5% off for it being my first time and guess what? Never received that either . Customer service was unsatisfactory as well, the associates were pushy and did not have any adequate suggestions or knowledge of the products they were selling. Overall a very dismissible experience read more

Great prices, great selection. Check out their daily deals for extra savings! Parking is always a nice perk too.

Best customer service very helpful, quick, and friendly definitely coming back. I suggest you do too Jessie was very helpful

If first impressions last a lifetime then I should expect to get ripped off for the rest of my life here. Was overcharged by $70 on a $100 purchase....seriously. First I was told I could get 30% off pre- rolls. I got two 5 packs and two individual pre rolls and only got 30% on one and 20% on the rest. You offer a discount, then take it away, then over charge by $70. Great first impression. Not sure how you could ever expect me to go back. When I got the mistake I obviously got the $70 adjustment but not the additional discount. You should have given me a free joint and apologized for the mistake. Offered me a future discount to come back. Bad service, terrible math skills, not one ounce of customer service. There are way to many other dispensary within a two block radius to have to put up with this shit.... read more

Terrible products rude, weird staff. Just over skip this place.. I would recommend any place but here they just were so unclean scratching vigorously and rude, Very low vibrational and bad energy in there.. I'd recommend natural remedies they left a better impression read more

I have found a new favourite place-Roots. They have a very fine selection of lotions and beard grooming products. Their store is always neat and clean, parking is always available and a very courteous staff. They open early in the morning and are open late. 6am to 8pm. Roots special blend Manly beard Oil has hints of peppermint and tea tree oil. It smells really good and actually softens my beard. I am also fond of their coconu Blend body lotion, A little goes a long way. They also have a large selection of refrigerated products and have all of the local brands of products. They have all the butters and many fine chocolates. Gotta support local sources. Great place for stocking stuffers. read more

ERICAAA is amazing. she literally and through for me when I was just trynna get some Jeeters‍bless her soul, amazing service!

WOW! What a great experience being here for the first time. I don't live in LA but work over here and I found this place on Weedmaps. Honestly, the best experience!! The ladies were so friendly and so was the guy at the lobby. I wish I would've gotten both of the ladies names, but one had brown and blonde hair and the other was promoting Alienlabs. Both were awesome! I'm definitely coming here more often! read more

I've been here probably 10 times. Until the last three or so, this would have been five star. Lately the staff is not helpful or knowledgeable. My last experience was super awkward. With the guy assuming all of these things about me and none of them being true. It's pretty hit and miss lately so I will probably be changing dispensaries. other than that, super clean super organized. When they first opened they were cash only then they took cards and now they're back to cash only read more

First time customer. I bought $150 worth of product. Weed was dry and old, 2 Stizzys gave me a headache. Totally bunk product. Called the store this morning, security guard Alex answers, very nice but useless. I'll do myself a favor and stick with Exhalence. Don't waste your time or your money. Thanks for nothing read more

One of the best LA has to offer! The people here really care about the product and customer. I talked to the manager Emily just out of luck and she really showed me how much she loved for the plant and respect for the customer. They'll straight up turn down flower from vendors if it's too old. If I'm going to pay top dollar I gotta know it was worth it, at Roots it's worth my money every time. More places in Los Angeles should be like this instead of just selling hype. This is my go to for sure because of awesome people like Emily. read more

The shop is great but the product was garbage. Picked up 1/4 of OG Kush by Zip and it was so dry with plenty of stems and gave me a headache. $58 for 7 grams was not a deal felt more ripped off. This was the first time leaving Roots not happy. This store has a variety of good products this 1/4 was some dried up backyard boogie. I'm so disappointed. I will not buy anything from Crown/zip and if I was Roots I would take it off the menu. read more
