We enrolled our daughter in the Nido classroom (infant) at Guidepost Kendall Park at the tender age…read moreof 4 months. As first time parents, we were extremely nervous to put our infant in daycare. We were new to the area and selected the school because it was within a 13 min drive to our home. We had no idea what to expect and just prayed that everything would work out. From day 1, we were struck by the remarkable level of care and attention provided by the teachers, known as "guides." These guides have shaped our daughter's early life with their boundless patience (with us), kindness, and genuine devotion to each child's unique development -- (Shout out to Ms. Vijaya, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Manisha, Ms. Fozia). Along with all the extensive training they go through, most of the guides are parents to young children themselves. They were able to help us navigate being first time parents and what to expect with our daughter's milestones, etc. During pickup, they would say, "Charlotte looks like she is ready to start walking in the next week or so" and like clockwork, she started walking. I would have never known the signs of readiness without the help of the knowledgeable guides.  The transparency and responsiveness of the administrators, Dr. Ali (Head of School) and Ms. Stephanie (Assistant Head of School) has been a constant source of reassurance for us. Dr. Ali and Ms. Stephanie know everyone's name (parents included) and the goingabouts in each classroom. We also regularly see them playing with the children because they genuinely care about the students.  As for the "montessori philosophy," I just thought it was another gimmick. But I was wrong! Our daughter's time at Guidepost Kendall Park has been marked by independence, curiosity, and a love for learning. Each day she comes home having learned a new skill (e.g., completing complex puzzles, drinking out of a tiny cup on her own, knowing how to put her toys away, doing the hand motions to "the itzy bitzy spider," etc.). I know she did not learn that stuff from us and I believe that not all daycares have the structure in place that enables children to learn these skills. To sum it up, Guidepost Kendall Park has given our daughter the best possible start in life, and for that, we're immensely grateful. Unfortunately, we are moving out of state and have to leave Guidepost Kendall Park at the end of the month. We will be transferring to another Guidepost school (which Dr. Ali and Ms. Stephanie helped facilitate). We can only hope the new school will be as great as the Kendall Park school.

This facility isn't clean- they allow children to attend even when they're sick (causing sickness…read moreon other children). They mix children of all ages - which allows toddlers/infants to become ill with all sorts of sickness that older kids get. 2nd time now that my son comes home and infects my husband and I - causing us all to admit ourselves into ER. Every week, he comes home with some kind of cold, flu, virus, rash- I'm disgusted. Not once have I walked into that facility and smelt bleach or a cleaning product. I don't feel they even clean their toys or sanitize properly at this rate. Thanks to this place I've been stuck dealing with pneumonia for the past week and my son has strep throat with an ear infection - who is only 20 months old. I get it, kids do get sick BUT not like this. On top of that, they can barely keep their teachers there. All his previous teachers were only there for a year or so... They don't stay because they get paid nothing from what the staff was telling me.

Many…read moregreat things about this little school, I believe the school was only closed 2 days a year which was a huge help for working parents, loved the summer camp programs, hot homemade lunches, hot soups, never had to bring diapers or wipes, parents were invited to many activities, photos were available if parents couldn't attend. My Town had low cost preschool in those early days but we felt CVNS offered more than the public school did. Awesome value. Ten years later our family still talks about this school regularly. When it came time to put my daughter in daycare, she advised against me checking this place out, saying it went downhill. I toured it, anyway, and was horrified by what I saw in the 20 or so minutes I was there. I heard childcare providers outright screaming at crying children, other workers ignoring children while they sat staring in a stupor, and it seemed like most of the curriculum involved watching children's TV shows. Pretty sure there isn't any teaching going on here-- just expensive, subpar babysitting. A lot of the place smelled like feces and urine, too. What's going on with this place???

My son Was treated a certain type of way and I believe he was targeted because I spoke out as a mother-as a parent there. They refused to put him with children his age and had him in the classroom with babies. I had no one I could reach out to. There was a lot of discrimination so BEWARE. I have my son in a new school and already have seen a complete difference in how the teachers and directors care for my son and for me as well. There's a lot of other schools in the area that offer care and support for your child unlike this school. I suggest stopping around.

She learned many different skills- academically, socially and emotionally. The teachers are wonderful to say the least, as they truly care about every child. Each teacher tends to every child individually, in an appropriate academic setting and in a manner that meets the child's emotional and social needs. My daughter grew and blossomed with every day she attended and every year that passed. I truly believe in my heart, that who she is today, stems from the years she attended this school. It is a warm and nurturing environment with the appropriate age required academic structure that parallels with an environment of warmth and kindness. An atmosphere, like the one at this Montessori School, is an intricate, impressionable and most important part of the young years of our child's youth. The time spent as young toddlers mean so much as to who they become growing into adolescents and young adults and Windsor Montessori does an excellent job at preparing our children for an amazing future. Ms. Yasmín has done an astounding job with this school, the curriculum, the teaching of self awareness; including patience and self intrigued academic skills and the necessity of learning how to play and be okay with ones self. My son has been going here since he was 11 months old, he is now 4. They help my son transition…read morefrom getting off the pacifier, from getting off the bottle, and helping him to achieve being completely potty trained. It has definitely been a journey and as a first time mom they has helped me navigate successfully through this journey like any other school their are ups and downs but any problems you have they get resolved quickly and they always strive to do better. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Me and my son will truly miss everyone! Great teachers and also the director Mrs. Benita is a beautiful person I'm definitely gonna miss her.
