Since my initial review my I've run a compression check on my bike which showed low compression…read more Sioux City Yamaha claimed the compression was just fine. Upon further inspection the bike had a slight leak at the head gasket. Again, they charged $800+ to tune the bike and the entire time it had a leaky head gasket. The incompetent "mechanics" couldn't have tuned anything properly with a leaky head gasket, but charged for it anyway. In addition, they claimed to have adjusted 3 valve clearances. I adjusted the valves myself before dropping the bike off, and now 3 of the exhaust valves are too tight, set to the same clearance as the intake valves, which is incorrect. What's even more odd is they left one exhaust valve set to the correct setting, which is substantially different than the other valves. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else if you want a bike repaired/tuned. Since this debacle I've spoken with others who've said they'd never take a bike there. Wish I'd have talked to them sooner, instead these crooked thieves made money and had no clue what they were doing. I'll be contacting Yamaha if to do nothing more than tell them what a sad excuse for a repair shop Sioux City Yamaha is.

Thinking it would be more expensive based on the stats and reviews I found, it was surprisingly less expensive. That tire ended up being on back order and as soon as it came in, it was mounted. They could have easily let me go on my way and gotten me out of there, but noticed something wasn't quite right with the tire and replaced it the next day. Thanks for keeping me safe and on the road, guys!
