To put in perspective: Home Depot installed the highest end Simonton windows possible with the specs requested and came in at around $7k installed. Which means that HomeSealed has excessive profits padded in. So...if you don't care about the money side, they might be perfectly fine to work with as a local outfit. EDIT: laminated was requested as a cost compare option, not a requirement. Even if laminated were a requirement, Home Depot's was still cheaper by over $3k. Fact is - as we said - HomeSealed is just priced higher because they don't use every manufacturer, they only use the ones they use, which tend to lean the higher cost. That's what we said: they might be fine at their job and you might want the best of whatever, maybe they're fine. BUT...if you're like 95% of homeowners who feel that significant pricing differences for basic things like colors is illogical, HomeSealed isn't for you.

This time the work was in a different area of the yard, and it is covered up with straw so pictures don't do much good. However, trust me when I say it is quality work. I highly recommend Dahl's, but get on the schedule asap as they fill up for the season faster than you would hope.

They did replace the tree but unfortunately it was much smaller and we will have to wait for a few years to get any fruit. They did take $100 off for us to plant it ourselves. There should have been way better communication between the owner and staff so this didn't happen in the first place. The lead landscaper that was here working with the other guys said he "didn't bring his notes". We get mistakes happen, but you should probably show up with at least your notes to a job so you know what was asked to get done. Multiple areas the grass seed did not come up, so now we are left with weeds in spots we didn't have weeds before. The crushed granite patio has bare spots where the weed barrier is coming through. It's a very thin layer of stone and obviously not compacted tightly. They told us it wouldn't shift, we wouldn't have problems. It's been 3 months since it was put in and we already have an issue. We have tried calling and emailing several times for 2 months. We did get 1 call back that said they would come out to assess but it rained that day and they never called to reschedule or come out. Since no effort has been made by Dahl's landscaping to correct any of this, we will be forced to hire someone else to finish the job having to spend more money after being charged over 10k for something to be done correctly.

I've only interacted with the people who come out to our house a few times since usually they come during the day, but everybody has been friendly. Moreover, their treatments clearly have worked. Most years we've also done the all natural mosquito treatment too and that seems to make a big difference. In fact, one year we opted not to do it to save money and regretted it. I'm sure they aren't the cheapest of the lawn treatment services but if you're looking for something better on the environment, with friendly and responsive people...do check out Be Green!
