I was in the Palm Bay area and discovered the Daily Thrift in the Country Club Plaza shopping…read morecenter. They have been in business since 2019. The Daily Thrift has multiple rooms packed floor to ceiling with treasures. Everything over $1 was 50 percent off when I visited. They sell bags, home goods, collectibles, shoes, small appliances, clothes, jewelry, art, and tons of other things. They had a whole hallway of cool vintage toys. Some of the more unusual things I spotted were a suit of Spanish armor and all of the medals a marathoner won in his many races. I ended up spotting an entire shelf of the Royal Rose pattern of my grandmothers China that I inherited so the friendly owner and I made a deal and I took two boxes home. Someday soon I will be able to throw a dinner party for 100. I was sorely tempted to take home a few other things but I don't think I have the room to display them the way they deserve. If you love treasure hunting, add Daily Thrift to your list.

There is always a great selection of items and the color of the day is a great draw for bargain hunters. Although they are not open every day of the week, shoppers have gotten used to the Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday routine. I highly recommend this shop and this church.

Plus, customers are NOT allowed to use their restrooms. One of the women who works there told me to get a large dress, put it on over my clothes. That way I can take my clothes off and try their clothes on, in the middle of the store and everyone!! I was appalled at her suggestion. That would definitely make me look like the thief they are so paranoid of. In my opinion, this place is no longer a friendly, comfortable place to shop. I believe everything is donated. Why the paranoia and distrust of your customers?

Today they had to call the person to see if the price marked down was correct. They sent out a text message with no dates on it saying 25% off now through Monday not valid. I have a temporary credit card with my old card, DL and asked them to call my bank but no. Needless to say today was my last visit.

This is a lovely antique market!…read more Although this was clearly an old grocery store or something like it. The space was taken over by a mother and daughter team and purposefully revamped to be an antique market. They clearly put a lot of thought into the design, layout, and even the lighting. It is definitely the cleanest, brightest, and best laid out antique market I have ever been to. When you first walk in the door there are several rows of glass cases containing jewelry and memorabilia. This is amazing for two reasons. 1. Because it is so many like items together. 2. Very few antique stores have such a large display of small items such as jewelry collectibles and memorabilia such as this. All of the stalls are laid out very neatly. But of course it is up to the renter of each stall as to how it is furnished and displayed. So as normal some are better than others. But all of them are quite wonderful. There is everything from antiques, vintage, memorabilia, glassware, homeware, lots of furniture, and handmade goods. So it is not 100% antique but I do feel that the handmade goods are upscale and fit well in the environment. It does not detract from or make you feel like you are missing out on antique options. Now that being said, that it is beautifully laid out and well curated. It is a little pricey. Not that the items are priced above their market value but most booths are pricing everything at the top end. So do be warned that you're probably not going to find a crazy amount of bargains. Now booths do have sales from time to time. And you can find some cheaper items. For example I got a beautiful pair of vintage enamel earrings for four dollars. But it is not an underpriced junk store. It is an upscale antique market. But it is definitely a very enjoyable experience and well worth a visit if not just to look at all the wonderful things!

Devin, the owner, clearly has a deep passion for vintage fashion, and it shows in the carefully curated selection of unique and rare finds I saw there. I even purchased some shoes for myself that were name brand and under 10 dollars and they are not only stylish but also in fantastic condition--truly a gem! The backstory is inspiring and it feels like a treasure trove for anyone who appreciates vintage fashion. From old band tees to classic Harley Davidson shirts, to hip street wear for youth or adults and more, you can definitely tell that each item has been handpicked with care and an eye for what's special. If you're looking for a place where you can find one-of-a-kind pieces that tell a story, or just cool name brand stuff for a steal to add to your wardrobe Detention Kid is the spot. I highly recommend checking it out!!

Used CDs are in ABC order, there's a section for 45s, dollar bins, DVDs and VHS, and both a playable Nintendo Entertainment System and a SEGA Genesis! It was fun to peruse through the countless merch. The music playing over the shop's sound system was EXCELLENT. Made me want to take my time just so I could listen to whatever was playing at the time. This is one of the cleanest, finest record shops I've been in to, and I can't wait to go back.

Very late stage capitalism. This seems more like a vintage clothing store that sells records; they…read morereally seem to be trying hard to cultivate a vibe, but it's sad. The vintage clothing section is small, and some of it is legit vintage. They have some local photos and t-shirts and suchlike. It's not Balsa Bills, by any means, but if you collect that stuff, have a look. I will not buy vinyl here because they are trashing their own stock. They store hundreds of LP's in flimsy cardboard boxes piled atop one another under the racks, and the covers get bent, flaky and dog eared. If you lack the initiative to make wooden LP crates for your under stock, you are not really interested. There is usually one person hanging out behind the counter, but they're not what you'd call interested. The prices are high for the condition but if you don't mind trashed covers I heard you can sometimes find a playable record for a couple of bucks.
