I initially called to have my kitchen sink cleared of a stoppage. They bring in a snake and proceed to snake from under the sink. It took them a while and ultimately, they were unable to get it cleared. Ok, sometimes at the end of the day we don't have on our thinking caps and we are not as quick witted as we could be. Why do people ask stupid questions like why do I need your Master Plumber's License? Only people on Staten Island would be stupid enough to get angry at a customer for asking such a thing. Nothing nefarious about that question when you want to confirm you are doing business with a LICENSED AND INSURED company. GTFOH. Making him look bad in front of the boss? CTFU. Boss should know smart people hire companies that their bona fides in order. Rates seemed fair. They took all the stuff they bought in back out and left the little mess they made (no problem) I'll leave it to clean up after I get the sink fixed. Would you go to a doctor and not know if he is licensed to practice medicine? Want just anyone working on your electric? I don't. The rest of Staten Island can do what they want. I was not charged, though by the time I went up to get checkbook to come back down to see how much I should give them for trying (not what they quoted me), they were already gone.

So unfortunately my home sewer is being shared by 5 others homes which then connects to the main city sewer. So every few years we have to clean the sewer pipe of any backup that it may cause. Basically maintain it before things go south. So what they than do is they come an jet the pipes with strong pressure water hose an after they attach their camera to make sure it's flowing smooth an there's not cracks etc going on down their. Over all about 2-3 hours of work. Which "we" meaning my jerk cheap neighbors only wants to do it in the winter freezing cold when there tends to show signs of backup or flushing issues. I rather do it 2x a year to maintain it regularly. Hey every isn't like me to avoid a problem Roto rooter has been a life saver for my block for quite some time now. Even before I moved in this has been getting serviced. I'm the only yelper who was entitled to $60 off my half I'm suppose to pay an boy oh boy the neighbor wanted a coupon too" wanted to argue bc she didn't have a coupon so yeah a good thing for me turned sour real quick. Nice lady that I'am I took the $60 off the entire balance instead of my share. (Still she was bitter) oh well one less hi I get to save. I usually am serviced by Paul which he's the OG of RotoRooter an the neighbors are comfortable with him. Me I can care less I feel like he over charges us anyway, but who am I to say. As long as it gets done. This time I dealt with Chris (Christian) I believe & this was his first time servicing this type of line. He was super professional did the job well an dealt with the drama from cheap neighbors paying a total balance of $1,200+tax than split 5 ways should of been 6 but I have a douche on the block who doesn't like to pay. Anyway back to Chris he did the job well came 2x to give a estimate an then 2 days later to do the job. Of course we'll be using the Staten Island team again. Thanks guys

My sump pump started beeping, so Choice Home Warranty dispatched Flawless Sewer Service Corp. The…read moretechnician spent no more than 5-10 minutes inspecting the pump, collected the $75 service fee, took a few pictures, and claimed the sump pump was installed incorrectly. He said both the main sump pump and the backup system needed to be replaced, explaining only that the check valve was installed "too high." This made little sense considering the sump pump was installed by a licensed plumber in 2020 and has operated without any issues for years. Based solely on that assessment, Choice Home Warranty denied my claim, citing improper installation. Wanting a second opinion before replacing the system, I hired another contractor. He found that the main sump pump was working perfectly. The only issue was that the backup sump pump battery had reached the end of its life and needed replacement. No installation problem existed with the primary pump. Based on my experience - I have no choice but to conclude that they are not interested in diagnosing the real problem and only there to collect the service fee.

The technician diagnosed a problem with the mixer valve and charged me $200, including a $75 service fee and $125 to replace a part that typically costs around $35. I accepted the price, but immediately after the repair, I noticed water dripping heavily from the showerhead. I contacted the technician right away and sent the requested photos and videos. After several messages, he said he would return on Tuesday, four days later. The day before the appointment, I contacted him to confirm the time. He asked me to send the photos and videos again, which I did, but he did not show up as promised. He later told me to wait a few more days because the problem might resolve itself. He also suggested replacing the showerhead. I purchased and installed a new showerhead that same day, but the leak continued. I gave the company several opportunities to return and correct the issue, but they did not follow through. I now have to hire another company to repair the problem. I will also be reporting this matter to the Better Business Bureau of New Jersey and the appropriate insurance company. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company or its services.
