Sac Town is a Tesla certified installer and was one of the installers recommended by Tesla. I contacted them through the link on Tesla site and was expecting a high quote based on the estimates I received on Yelp a few weeks ago. It turned out they have a very reasonable price and they give me an instant rebate from SMUD. I especially want to thank Nina for her patience and understanding in the whole communication process. I changed my mind back and forth multiple times as it was a learning process for me on the charging system (for example, wall connector vs 240v outlet). Their technicians are awesome too. I just could not ask for a better service from anybody else. They are simply the best!

You can imagine when we embarked on this project it had the potential to be very stressful. Brandon and Syd were amazing project leads and so communicative throughout the process. They stayed late to make sure all aspects of the project were completed within the timeline. Michelle in the front office was amazing at communicating timelines and scope of work so we understood what to expect. The team showed up on time every day and were available for questions and requests we had if we wanted to make adjustments mid project. Once they completed their work they made some recommendations for reputable dry wall companies for closing up holes in the wall which helped ease the stress of trying to vet another company. Overall we had such a great experience with everyone at Peach and HIGHLY recommend them and will call them again if we need any electrical support for our home.

Instead gave us a 200$ customer appreciation deduction. I learned this company is good at rebutting reviews. In either case, they charged 14k, 13k, 11k and 8500$. I am just glad we didn't go all the way. They will have an excuse down below. This company is a joke. Go to your next best. First, if you're having electric problems, I'm sorry to tell you this, but it's not going to be a…read morecheap fix. The best you can hope for is that it won't be a devastating cost. Electricians are far more technically skilled than most of the people who will come work on your house. Also, electricity is really dangerous, and there are a lot of overhead costs. So when the electricians flips you a $150 bill for 30 minutes (or whatever), he's probably not cheating you. This coming from someone who has worked on jobs with electricians AND hates spending money on this kind of stuff. Anyway, my AC went out last night, along with the power in about 1/4 of my house, and it's predicted to be 107 today. I spent five years doing residential remodeling, so I knew not to try to mess with electric myself outside of basic troubleshooting. So, I gathered as much information about the problem as I could, then called three electricians this morning. Shields was the only one who called back. He left another job and was at my house within an hour or two. I told him I was on a budget and had some DIY experience. There's really not a lot of corners to cut with electricity, but he was great. He walked through everything with me, explaining what went wrong, what to do if it happens again, etc. He fixed it, and my AC is back on...just as it's really heating up outside. Finally, as others have mentioned, Jeff is just a pleasant guy to be around. I'll definitely be calling him again if I have any more problems, or if I need any electric work done (I will). Note to other reviewers: the electricians that didn't call me back must be busy. Most residential electricians are independent contractors, meaning they don't have receptionists to tell you they don't have time for your job. It doesn't make sense to leave one star reviews, as a couple people have done for this company, and you are hurting family run businesses because of your inconvenience. If you feel a burning need to convey your experience, you might consider giving 3 stars, since you didn't actually talk to anyone, and it's unfortunate you gave one star to a good company. But really, you should leave messages for a few of them at the same time and hire the first one who is available (assuming you've already vetted all three).

When fixing an outlet in my home, Steve blamed the brand new dryer as being the issue and told me I'm not an electrician so I wouldn't know if the dryer is defective. When he was told the power went out in the room when the iron was plugged in, Steve said you shouldn't iron in the bedroom anyway as it pulls too much electricity. What??? Apparently, there is more going on with the electricity in the home. Now other plugs are not working in the bedroom. What did this guy do to the house, oh but I guess that's the dryers fault too. DO NOT use this company, you will regret it. I will be contacting the Contractors State License Board.
