I wish I could do zero stars for this review. I placed a big order for a wedding and was confirmed it was "in the books". A few days before the event, I sent a message to them to confirm, I didn't hear back. The day of the wedding they were nowhere to be found. They didn't respond to text or call backs even after leaving a voicemail. This place should be out of business with the poor communication for a special big event. One simple "sorry we can't fulfill the order" would have been great because I could have had a plan B. Definitely do not recommend this place because of its unreliability read more

Other than Buc-ee's, I can't think of anywhere that can match Ronnie's pricing for bagged, cube ice. I use the 40 lb. bags, $6/each (includes tax), to fill my coolers for tailgating. Never had to wait in line, don't have to haul bags from store to parking lot, etc. Highly recommend. read more

I am surprised I have not reviewed Ronnie's Ice before today. Maybe they are new to Yelp? At any rate, I am not sure. I just happened to be doing some reviews of companies I have known and done business with over the years. First, I am surprised there is only a few reviews. You know the saying, you can do everything right, and there's that one person, who is not going to give an honest review, however, I will :) This company has been in busy for many years, and I promise you will not meet any nicer people than the Owner, the family, and the workers, in this entire world. I can assure you that the Owner does not have any thieves working there. I know they do a thorough background check on ALL employees, plus let me mention this. IF ANY of the worker's needed financial help at all, all they would have to do is ask and than shall receive. They do not and would not "steal" or take something that does not belong to them. The Owners are the most generous individuals you will ever meet. I actually went to High School with one owner, and grew up in the same neighborhood, the Houston Heights. The Owner's are known for their great service, outstanding reputation with great hard-working employees. The employees have worked for the company for many many years, Each and everyone of them are hard working and make an honest living on a daily basis. I highly doubt a "brand new battery" was stolen out of Albert A's truck while he was in the office paying. Is it possible the battery was missing before his arrival? I would say so. Plus, if the Owner had the slightest inclination that a battery was taken, it would have been handled right then and there. That's how much the Owner cares for their customers. I just find this to be unbelievable. Ronnie's Ice is the best in town. You can pull up there to their dock, order and pay for your ice, and they will even load the ice at no extra charge. Ya know everyone always charges a "fee" for something. Not these guys. I love this company and the people who own it and the employees. They would give you the shirt off their back. I know they are known for helping others, always donating considerable sums of money to Charities, active in many community events, donates artificial snow for sick and under-privileged children, and the list goes on and on. Oh with the hurricane season approaching, and no one has any "ice", I bet you can count on Ronnie's Ice! I have before and which I am forever grateful.
