For the last 20 & procrastinating years, I've wanted to learn the piano. After a difficult search for an instructor based on my schedule needs, I was extremely fortunate to have found Reuel. For the past year and since day-1, Reuel has been extremely consistent as an instructor. He always remembers where we left off from the past lesson, he stays focused 100% on my learning, he tailors the lesson to the way I learn things, and he remains very patient and ultra mellow even when he insists on clean playing techniques. Before my 1st lesson with Reuel, I anticipated having to go through several instructors in order to find one that made me feel my piano playing was important to them. With Reuel, my success is important to him - he gets excited when I do something well and remains persistent when I could be doing something better. Many times I forget he's my instructor and it feels like he's this great pianist who's trying to show me how to play the piano. This is the difference between hiring someone to help me read music and show me how to press keys vs someone staying with me on my musical journey.
