A decade ago or more, prices for offered items began to disappear. Manager said, "they change all the time, we can't keep up with it". Haven't visited this store for a year or such, but went there in mid October to stock up on a few things. First of all, this store is yet another one having been bought up by the Kavumbalanders from the other world. Going through the isles, we found not one of the items showing a price. Asking a salesperson about it, he said, "we don't do this". Then I asked for prices of working gloves. They used to offer a package of 12 pairs at quite a discount when just purchasing one pair. "No such thing", salesman grinned all over his Kavumba face. Asked for prices of the things I intended to purchase, I found those to be plainly outrageous, in tune with other businesses that were bought by Kavumbalanders in Fort St. John. Totally disgusted, I threw items gathered back wherever space was available and hightailed it out of there, fast. We will not spend one red, dead cent in there until prices for items are shown and those prices reflect realities, not bottomless greed.

Their selection is not as vast as some huge one stop warehouse places, but their prices are fair and the staff do their best to help you get the hardware you need.

The idea of yard beautification in a region that is blanketed in snow six months of the year always seemed a little bizarre. I hold in high esteem the talented and motivated folks who put in long hours during our limited growing season to produce beautifully manicured lawns and flower gardens. Many of whom shop here, but I've found the time put to better use playing ball, barbecuing and boating. It's the months before Christmas when the activity at the gardens really gets exciting. I've always liked the idea of real fir and spruce Xmas trees. I love the scent of the needles. The nursery stocks trees up to twelve feet in height. It's unfortunate you can't buy any with the roots intact as any of them would make a fine addition to my yard. The inside of the facility is just as amazing. There are no fewer than eight fully decorated trees on display. You can even place a ballot for your favorite. As well as shelves overflowing with rustic decorations and figurines, live and artificial Christmas foliage, wreaths and plants. The wide eyed wonder of the kids that visit here is well worth the trip. Most of the seasonal stock unsold after the holiday is massively discounted. The gardens are always a great place to visit no matter what season you favor.
