Popped in to this quaint shop to grab some flowers for my mom for her birthday. The florist and her…read moreapprentice were friendly. She asked how she could help and I informed her as to why we (my son and I) were in there. I told her we had a budget of $20-$25. She told me that we could do her "Grab & go" where we pick the flowers we want and they would wrap them up. She added that there would an additional $5 fee to cover her heating and lighting bill....she went over every type of flower they had and verbally told me the prices of each, which was time consuming and would've been more efficient to have the prices marked. She also informed me that it would be up to me to cut and clean the stems at home, asked me if I knew how to do this and if I had a proper floral knife or scissors to do this. I told her I was not a florist and that this is why I was in her shop. So after we picked the flowers, she spent time going over each stem and educated me on how to cut and clean each one....by this time I was extremely annoyed as she could have just done the bloody things herself in less time than it took for her to tell me how to do it. She questioned me on one flower in particular asking if I was sure I wanted that one....wanted my full name and phone number for the receipt (in case my debit transaction didn't go through...????), I told her no thanks. They wrapped the flowers and it looks atrocious. Lovely ladies, obviously passionate about flowers, but out to lunch on customer service. What should've been a quick in and out transaction resulted in about 20-25 mins of pain. Next time I'll just grab from them from the Save-On.

Everything was so nice, in fact, I felt like I didn't belong. After spending a couple minutes in the store Iknew everything was way too expensive for me, but I couldn't stop looking around. It was all such intriguing merchandise that I spent way more time than necessary looking around at everything. They've got such a unique selection of products in the store like old grandfather clocks, authentic bird cages, and even old school snow shoes. They've got some paintings for sale, most depicting an older, western scene. You can buy couches, beds, dressers, tables, chairs, blankets, pretty much anything you can think of. You have to special order everything, but you get to pick your stain colour and fabrics as well. I think it's cool that you can kind of custom make your own furniture. The lady working there (perhaps the owner?) was really friendly and eager to offer a hand or answer any questions. She directed me to their website, saying that all their products were online. The funny thing is, you can't order anything from the website, only view what they have. It's a high-priced store, but the goods are all so beautiful! I enjoyed just browsing around at all the neat and interesting things they had in this store. It was really neat!

It had nothing to do with the "fluffing of the couch" as I do this regularly. Anyways, I ended up having to go into this store and threatening to go to the better business bureau after the owner argued with me in front of my 3 small children about the defective and junk product they sold me as they were refusing to just send me a new cover and fix it. The customer service at this store is the worst I have ever experienced. In the end after dealing with the back and forth for months, I did get a new cover but it is still not fitting properly and I have never heard back from the store. They sent a third party to install the new fabric and then never bothered to follow up. Horrible customer service and junk product.

Bathfitter started a project in my house in the middle of April... The install was supposed to take…read moreone day, then 2 days, and two days turned into an incomplete job because the glass doors were shattered, and nobody happened to look at this before they decided to leave me shower-less and without a shower for almost a month! Perhaps that's a good thing because the instal was faulty and caused a leak that ran into the ceiling from the original tear down . After having third-party trades, people at my house to repair walls and ceilings, the work was done terribly, and once again it had to be redone. This time they decided to send their lead install technician who is the ONLY good thing about the company, Jared, he is fabulous... his quality of work is excellent. His attention to detail excellent! He has been working on getting things done over the last 3 to 4 visits and had our last visit scheduled. I ended up being late to arrive by an hour, and when I called the store to excuse my tardiness and say I'm home now he's welcome to come back because he was booked in my unit for the entire day, the reply from the receptionist was "I need to call your sales person to see if we are ever willing to come back and finish the job." Pardon me! Your two day installation and $13,000 shower has now taken over eight months to finish after you've destroyed my home and I've made multiple concessions to have trade staff into my house destroyed it even more to have your employee that you should've said the first time come and fix it. The final day he was booked to complete the job I was late yes but he also had another seven hours in the day to get the job done and you chose not to send him back. April 16 was the original install date and we are at December 27 and it's still not done. You have a lifetime warranty on your product so guess what you're getting it done might I add they have not once offered me any type of financial compensation they are still expecting full payments for the completion of the shower . They've already received $9000 and I'm telling you I am so happy I held back money because if I hadn't, they wouldn't have come to complete the job. I guarantee it. The shower is lovely, but this is a basic shower. This is not some massive fancy steam shower that required new plumbing or structures to be built or changed. There's no crazy hardware or elite finishings, and not a sauna for multiple people. This is a basic shower, slightly shorter than the length of the bathtub that they have failed to complete, failed to install correctly and failed to be accountable for. To receive what I have, which is a shower that took a month to be able to use, and months and months later to be able to enjoy my bathroom, I still don't even have the towel bar put back up the wall had to be redone all of these things because of the install as the complete lack of customer service, I am appalled, disgusted and taken aback by this company! Now they are threatening to not finish the job... I have so far spent $9000 on a shower that was unuseable for a month, has left holes in the walls, leaks in my ceiling and my living space unusable for eight month. And the funny part is now I have to badger them and chase them to finish the job that they couldn't do in the first place... This is not what I signed up for... Would I use them again? would I recommend them to anybody? think the answer is pretty obvious! Epic fail
