After the initial meeting, I was told I had a reason to file a lawsuit against a bank. I was told that I had cause for triple damages , which could be substantial. Andrew Parker was my attorney. In the beginning he told me he was going to try to go through some back door to settle without filing. This went on for almost a year. When he had wasted many hours on " going through the back door " he finally filed the action against the bank. They immediately agreed to reimburse the funds that had been taken. Mr Parker thought that was a good deal and recommended I accept it. I made the mistake of questioning his methods and I would end up paying dearly. The bank ended up paying back the initial amount, plus interest plus extra to cover Andrews fees. Just happens his fees increased over $3000.00 after the case had settled. Mr Parker's bill was inflated from the beginning, but more from the point I questioned his methods. If you are looking for an attorney that will bill fairly without concern for his ego, look somewhere else!

I found this law firm that looked like a good fit to review an agreement I'd been asked to sign. I…read moreasked that it be reviewed and explained to me in layperson terms so I could understand exactly what I was (or wasn't) signing. The attorney agreed to assist via his paralegal, stating it would take 1-2 hours to review. This was on March 30th and the deadline for me to accept or decline the document was April 15th, which I made clear at the time. Despite repeated contact attempts, I did not receive any feedback until April 14th from the attorney's paralegal who apologized that he wasn't in the office that week and scheduled some time for me to speak with him at 10am on April 15th. I asked that he call me at any time on that day, the 14th, and I would drop everything and answer. He ended up calling me from the airport waiting for his flight back to the US from a tropical vacation spot and spent a total of six minutes on the phone with me, explaining that "everything in the agreement looked pretty standard" which did not help as I'm not familiar with what is or is not standard in such an agreement. I received six minutes of phone time the day before I needed to make a decision despite being told two weeks prior that it would take 1-2 hours to review. I ended up making my decision no thanks to this firm, and am $250 poorer for it. If this is how they treat the rest of their clients, stay far far away.
