This is just a warning to anyone wanting to use Romantic Essentials for their special occasion. My story began when I was in need of an engagement proposal specialist. I found Romantic Essentials online and the gallery was amazing. I sent the business an inquiry and they responded with a telephone request for May 23rd. We spoke on the telephone and expressed my ideas for an engagement proposal. They requested $200 deposit to lock in my July 1st date. I paid those monies on June 2nd. On June 9th, I paid another $399 towards the $999 package that I selected. June 25th was the next correspondence I received via email. It was a reminder about an upcoming telephone session that was scheduled for June 27th. Next, I actually received a notification at 0500hrs that my monies would be refunded and my telephone appointment was canceled. I was blown away by the notifications. I quickly researched past emails and saw that I missed a payment reminder two days prior. I was very busy with a very sick friend and mentor in the hospital. I will own that and I will be accountable for that.
The issues are as follows: I tried to email & text the representative Zakiya several times. She eventually called me back and expressed that they would no longer be able to help me with my proposal less than 4 days away. Regardless of my ability to pay the remaining $399. She only apologized for her assistant not calling me about the final payment reminder. I asked if I could utilize the "MARRY ME" letters to somehow salvage the date. Zakiya said that she would check the availability and call me back later. She never called to assist me. They ghosted me!
At that point in this journey, they have $600 of the monies that I have paid. She advised that I would only receive $399, the other monies are non-refundable ($200). If you told the assistant to call me and they did not, there needs to be more accountability from the business. Two hundred dollars for two phone calls is excellent money if you can make it off of someone.
Throughout our communications, they expressed faith in the conversations. My question, where was the grace that could have been shown to me?Ultimately, God received the glory and it was a beautiful moment that my fiancé will never forget. God brought together a different planner and photographer in the eleventh hour. read more
