I drove him crazy but he was like a best friend. He had my existing car evaluated. Thank you Doran for the super fast service. They put the deal together for me and gave me options. Do you know how refreshing it is to not have to go to a car dealership and feel pressured. I never felt pressured, and I never felt like my back was to the wall. They allowed me to steer the ship. I didn't even have to go in with the exception of them getting final evaluation on my existing trade. When time to pick up the car. Wadie took the delivery with Ross to another level. I Thought I had gotten everything out of the car. Wadie saved me as he retrieved my wife's sunglasses, which I forgotten, were up in the visor as well as my ez pass. He reviewed the features with me on my car. The paperwork took me probably all about 10 minutes and I was on my way. I am happily driving my new vehicle from Friendly Honda. And I am happy to be a second time customer and definitely keep coming back.

Mercedes will only tow to closest dealership which is this dealership or you have to pay which is a considerable distance. Thought OK now that they advertise on Radio that they provide pick up and service deliveries and have loan vehicles maybe things will be better. I would be WRONG.... While I was pleasantly surprised that they fixed it the same day... Heard nothing from them after I called them to tell them the car had been picked up. Reached out and heard back from them an hour before closing that my car was ready. Mind you I live over 50 minutes away. I asked about them dropping off my car the following day only to hear it would be two weeks... Why advertise you have this service if you are not able to provide or do so. Asked as well if they could leave keys under mat and I would lock the car through App. Was told first it could not be done which is a lie as another dealership did this for me. Than was told it was against company policy. Told I could pick up by car with my spare key and then drive almost two hours round trip the following day to get keys. I opted to immediately leave in the middle of a snow storm to get my vehicle and told them I would get there just before closing. My car was sitting out buried in snow unlocked when I got there so much for security concerns. Staff was waiting in the dark 5 minutes before closing and the inside of my car had mud on door, mats, and seat (boot print on seat). I would not come to your house and put my dirty boots on your furniture and expect my things to be respected. This is not the first time I have picked up my car and the interior is dirty when I gave it to them clean as they do not cover interior of these cars. Nor like any other dealership in the area wash your car. Would rather go out to Albany or Rochester for service.

After an accident in April 2025, I brought my van here for repairs -- and it turned into a…read moresix-month ordeal. The dealership returned my vehicle to me twice with visible water damage that they never disclosed or fixed. Their negligence caused thousands in additional damage, and when I tried to work with them, service director Nick Crisafi instead cut off all communication. The New York DMV investigated and found the dealership at fault for failing to properly diagnose and repair the damage. I then took them to small claims court -- and the arbitrator ruled fully in my favor, ordering Mercedes-Benz of Syracuse to pay the maximum amount of $5,000 in damages. If you've experienced something similar, you can also file a DMV complaint and pursue legal action -- it's worth doing because you don't have to just accept poor service or damage to your vehicle. Feel free to reply here if you want to know what steps worked for me. I expected far better from a certified Mercedes-Benz facility. This was the most unprofessional service experience I've ever had.

Leased a Jeep Sahara from this dealer in Jan 2026, worker with John Christantelli, who was…read moreFANTASTIC to work with and he took great care of us through delivery etc. The reason for the 1-star review is purely the service department. Vehicle was damaged in December and worked with Romano Mercedes to have it repaired (btw, you'll see a 5-star review posted for their team soon, they were great. Mercedes body shop had to work with the Jeep shop to get a repair done over there that the body shop couldn't do. They were also supposed to do an oil change, NYS inspection, and replace windshield wipers while it was there. Not only did Jeep keep the vehicle for 4 days while they "worked it into the schedule", but when it was finally done, I asked if my daughter could pick it up there instead of going back to Mercedes. Joe (who I've dealt with many times), really seems like he hates his job, I'll expand on that. Told me "no, it has to go back to Mercedes for paperwork". I said "it's the same family of dealerships, you guys can't deal with the paperwork after the fact?" His exact response was "No". I said ok I guess I'll just keep waiting. "Ok, thanks bye." Amazing service! Picked up the Jeep from Mercedes the next day (again the service we received there was great), oil change wasn't done nor the inspection, nor the wipers. Called Jeep today to make an appointment for what they didn't do, again Cranky Joe, told me no openings until 4/17. I could've explained the situation but I'm confident it wouldn't have mattered. In the past, I've made appointments with him, dropped my vehicle off the night before and received calls (from him) saying I didn't have an appointment what are we doing with the vehicle. So, as a result, I'll be taking my business up the road to Burdick. By the way, we've purchased a handful of vehicles from Romano Toyota and they are FANTASTIC! Jeep service is the only issue I've experienced in the Romano family of dealerships!
