Well, it was good then I could go through everything here in the shop. Modern graphic have been here since decades now. The first time I passed this place, it just seem like a small comic shop. But the inside was actually bigger than its look. Inside the shop, if you are looking for manga, it is just stays at the right conner right after you enter the shop. And the left side you can find some cute toys and figures. At the back, it the marvel ans dc's superheroes area, if you are a fan then don't miss it. They got also many other comics which I just saw it the first time here. Which is quite cool. Just go around the place and discover it yourself. Although the shop doesn't have a fancy look, it really reminded me that kind comic shop I have been when I was a kind. I found it really nice and cosy.

I was most delighted by such a wide variety of queer focused comics that were displayed with equal weight. You certainly have to look actively for things because it is a comic book store with SO MUCH that things are tucked away occasionally. However there's plenty to find!

On vacation in Berlin from USA and one of the things that I definitely wanted to make sure I did…read morewas go to a few comic shops and pick up some comics to bring back with me as a German souvenir! Well after finally finding this place (which is actually very nice & organized) I got excited and took a picture of my first comic shop visit in Germany. Moments later I walked in to an angry girl who works there & with an attitude says "you could at least ask before taking a picture." This pissed me off (last thing I want to deal with while on vacation is someone acting like a B, especially when I'm about to give her my money) & I told her I took a picture of the shop, it's not like I took a picture of her. She continued to fuss about it & I said "if it was such a big deal you could've waved me down or said something while you saw me doing it" and she said "well I'm telling you now". Ok I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe this was a cultural thing. In the USA businesses don't care about that kind of stuff because it's good publicity but maybe it's different here. After asking a few of the other businesses in the area & explaining what happened they all said it's usually no big deal and that she must've just been an a-hole. Well, glad I didn't give her any money. I didn't buy anything (even though there were a number of things that caught my eye). I walked out, looked up the next closest comic book store and had a COMPLETELY different experience! It was about a 10 minute walk from this shop. The owner (it was privately owned) was super nice & very helpful in spite of a lnaguage barrier. I spent about an hour in his shop & bought some nice things to add to my collection. If you're a tourist I recommend looking up the other shop. In fairness to this business, I won't name it in this review but it ends in XX :)

It's not difficult to find the shop, it located in the basement of Europa Center. If you are a comic fan like me, this is the place you shouldn't miss. When you first walk in, you can find a lot interesting toys, posters, T-shirts and so on. From Doctor Who, Star Wars to One Piece. On the left side, it's the Manga area and some comics for kids. It's not much but you will be able to find most the popular titles. On the right side, there are manly Marvels and DC heroes comics. At the back side of the shop you can find the discount area. Also the English comics area. It's cool they also offer English comics here. If you have any questions, just talk with the employee. They will gladly help. When you are around, don't forget to check it out.

I like to hang out in the comic shop a lot back where I lived before. Since I moved here. I haven't seen any really manga bookshops around. Until I visited this shop. It really gave me a feeling like home. Brilliant! Although the shop is not really close to the city center, but it is one of the best Mange bookstores. I am glad that i have discovered it. It not so difficult to find the shop, you can take the bus M49 from the S/U-Bahn station Zoologist Garden, 10-15 mins you will be there (or the U7). There is a very sweet Hello Kitty face on the top of the shop, kinda made it hard to miss. Like I mentioned before, the shop doesn't look so big outside, but once you are inside, you can see it got lots of things. You can find the classic gashapon machines, cute toys, sweet stuffed animals, popular figures and so on. Of course lots of Manga books. They are all be really well organized and most of them in really good and completed collection. It's also gay friendly, they got the section for some gay Manga. The whole store really focusing just selling Japanese style comic books (which Manga)....Wait, I think I should say "they are selling the Japanese Manga culture" is better. Beside books, they also have a area for cosplay costumes and two Purikura Photo Booths (Japanese Sticker Photo Booth), you can also find figures from Godzilla to the classic Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball! It's kinda pricey, but true fans won't care. They also selling Anime series and movie. Honestly, what a Manga paradise here. Well, Most of the mangas are in German though. They also offer some English mangas, but it's really not that much. It's not a problem, if you also can speak German. The employees there are really friendly and helpful. Thus, I became the fans of this place. For sure I will come back again. Thumbs up!
