The restaurant is in a beautiful location, right on the beach. It has two floors with terrace seating on the ground and upper level. The decor is modern, neutral with earthy tones, a fine dining experience. The service is fabulous. We were greeted promptly and seated just as quickly. We do not speak good Spanish but the waitstaff all delivered in fine English. We ordered a variety of food. First was the bluefin tartar, which was beautifully presented. The fish was extremely fresh but the flavor was lacking a wow factor needed for 22€. Next we had barbecue octopus. It was not the best presentation (kind of looked like someone threw up on a plate). But the cook on the octopus was perfect and it was very flavorful. For our mains we had ibérico pork and bacalao (cod). The pork was very good, seasoned well, but a little over cooked and a bit underwhelming. I wanted more. The cod was unfortunately a big let down. There was a small piece of cod that was swallowed up by an overwhelming amount of cream sauce. Good flavor but next time I want more fish than sauce. Our desserts were great, so it was a good finish. In my opinion, you are paying a premium for a fine dining experience on the beach, but one that just missed the mark for commanding such a premium. You won't be disappointed by the service and the venue, but the food falls short. read more
