As far as estate agents go, I have to say I am fairly impressed with Rollo's. We have been dealing with them for the past three years and every problem we have encountered (wasp nests, broken light fittings, noisy neighbours), they have managed to handle quickly and efficiently. They are fairly lenient about getting rent in on time which is great if you are usually quite forgetful like me. The only issue I do have with them is their sometimes lack of friendliness - I think they find students rather irritating, but considering in the rental office we probably make up most of their bookings, this seems unjustified and unfair. read more

I would definitely recommend Rollos to anyone looking to rent in St Andrews. I rented a property for 3 years and had no issues. Any problems with the flat were dealt with swiftly - any issues regarding fixing these problems were down to external contractors as opposed to the agency or landlords, although the only issue I ever had was waiting a week to sort out my fire alarm battery. The property was in good condition and a high level of cleanliness. My deposit was returned in full, and when I accidentally paid too much rent, I was instantly informed and the money was returned to me. The staff are friendly and helpful, and I was happy to renew my lease each year. As long as you are a good tenant, you will have no issues with this firm. read more
