Second the staff genuinely cares, my son has moved throughout multiple classrooms and every teacher has been nothing short of fantastic in the infant and toddler program thus far. In regards to the infant room they are GREAT about following the oz's per bottle you set, but also gently making recommendations when needed. because let's face it babies act different depending on who they're around sometimes. You get these cute little notes about things they enjoy and developmental milestones they achieve. They send home soooo much art work for you to hang on the fridge and cherish. The toddler program is also wonderful. Classroom 6,1,2, and 3 teachers were all super great. One day there was an issue, my son slept too long and he slept through a bottle and as a ftm it made me super nervous, this staff handled it like CHAMPS they were super understanding and supportive of my position and assured me it wouldn't happen again and it did not. Goes to show how great they are at not only dealing with babies but also parents. The food they receive is also amazing in my opinion their menu never fails! Overall the value of care, education, and experience you get for your child is unmatched by any other daycare I've seen. If you can get a spot here I highly recommend it!

I tried to discuss it with the teacher, that did not work so I went to the director. She not only did not hear any of my concerns, she was belittling and dismissive throughout every conversation. When I went to the OWNER of the school to discuss how the whole situation was being handled and how rude her staff was, I received the response that is attached below: "Staff members, including our management team, are not up for a discussion with parents." The facility is nice, the actual teachers really do seem to care about the kids, anyone else behind a desk was never a good experience and always made things difficult.

I love Rainbow Station! I don't know that I can express myself well enough in words to explain how…read moregrateful I am that my son is now at Rainbow Station and not at his previous school anymore (see my review on the other pre-school for more information). Rainbow Station has been everything that a pre-school should be and my son has done nothing but flourished. His teachers Patty and Mallory are amazing! Anthony loves them both and will tell me that he wants one of them by saying, "Mommy I want Patty or Mommy I want Mama (as he calls Mallory)". The front desk ladies are so warm and genuinely happy to see us every day, Anthony blows them a kiss as we leave and waives bye. The Director, Ms. Jada is awesome and always available to answer any questions. She is silly and fun too, which I personally love because I like to be silly and prefer a happy environment as opposed to a stale and sterile environment. Ms. Hazel the owner is gracious and kind. Ms. Joyce always knows everyone's names and is always ready to snap a picture at one of our family events. The school even has a babysitting list that has the teachers that are willing to babysit beyond school hours, which has been such a blessing and made me feel better when I have to leave him for work events, because I know that he is in great hands! The curriculum is amazing and my son, who is newly two, has been speaking in full sentences and able to communicate effectively with me (as long as it is not right before nap or bed time). Since my son has been at Rainbow Station he has not had one single negative incident report! Which goes to show that Rainbow Station knows how to care for kids of all kinds and does not lay blame on a child like their counterparts in the industry. Instead they seek to understand and find a solution if need be. And did I mention that they have a ratio of 1 to 6 instead which is better then the required 1 to 8 that their competitors maintain. My son is happy when I go to pick him up every day and does not want to leave he is having so much fun. I know what he is doing each day and I would be able to tell even if they did not write it out in detail because Anthony shows me each night what they learned. I.E. When they were studying bugs, he went around the house and pointed out to me all of the things that looked like bugs. He may have also grabbed a spider and tried to give it to me, which of course was hysterical and not so at the same time! :-) I believe he did the same thing to his teacher while they were outside (I'm sorry Ms. Mallory my son has no fear). And I can go on and on with how awesome the entire Rainbow Station community is and how they treat us like family! Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your family! And for helping me to raise a strong and kind young man!

I'm writing this as parent with a child that had been recently enrolled, because I wish I had more…read morecurrent reviews before deciding to enroll my child in The Court House Academy. This school is not what it used to be. Years ago, it had a strong reputation and long-standing teachers who had been there for 20+ years. Unfortunately, since the administration changed, there has been a clear decline. All those experienced teachers are gone, and the turnover now is extremely concerning. The biggest problem is the constant teacher turnover during the school year. Teachers leave in the middle of the term, and the classrooms never seem to have stability. This has seriously disrupted the curriculum and, more importantly, it has made my child feel uneasy. Children need consistency to feel secure and ready to learn. When my child kept seeing new teachers every few weeks, it created confusion and a lack of trust in the classroom environment to the point that drop offs went to a happy and smooth process to a nightmare because she didn't want to be there. In our case, my child had five different teachers in just the first quarter of the school year. Since then, the Spanish teachers were continued rotating with no clear continuity. Because of this, my child did not learn Spanish at the level the school promotes. Honestly, she learned more Spanish during a one-month visit with her grandparents than she did the entire year at this school, which was very disappointing. What makes this even more frustrating is the lack of communication from the administration. Parents are not properly informed when these teachers' changes happen. We always find out after seeing the new teachers when we drop off, which does not build trust and leaves us feeling out of the loop. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this school. The instability in staffing, poor communication, and overall decline since the administration change have had a real negative impact on our child's learning and sense of security.

When we first started coming to this school, they couldn't hold onto teachers. They were…read moreconsistently rotating through staff members. They also don't know how to assist children who are on the spectrum and send them home if they are too disruptive. Doesnt matter what you pay a week, you wont see that money again once its charged. They charge you an absurd fee if you are a few minutes early. They will call you to have your child picked up if the teachers cannot handle child like behaviors. They say they will charge half price on holidays, they always charge full price. Snowed in? Too bad you're still paying $300+ a week for daycare. The teachers we had that didnt up and quit were fantastic, its the admin that are the problem. If you look at the schools indeed reviews they are treated poorly by management.

We love the Montessori approach and feel that it helps children develop very comfortably at their own pace. All of the teachers, TA's, and administrative staff have been easy to communicate with and helped us with any concerns over the year. Being that it was her first year, I admit that I did have a lot of questions, but the staff was understanding and as the weeks went on, I felt more and more comfortable that she was safe and well taken care of and she became very comfortable with her teachers, as well as her peers. I saw how much she learned just after two months. The schedules work and have helped her thrive academically and socially. I can see her problem-solving skills have really developed, as well as her thinking. The monthly newsletters kept us informed throughout the year. The school programs are all fun to attend and see the children work together, and also see their individual personalities shine. I feel that the facility is very clean and that she's picked up some good habits over the year. She's also made some good friends with her peers and learned good manners. We love hearing about her day, her lessons, and activities when we pick her up. The pick-up and drop-off system works fairly quickly. We also love that they do STEM, art projects to bring home, gym, outdoor activities, and trips to the farm. It's a great facility and we do love the diverse staff, who are all friendly and helpful. We have enrolled her next year and can't wait to see how much more she learns and grows over the next few years with MAV.

Our first daycare, first…read moredrop-off, first time placing our trust in others to care for our little one all were huge moments for us. We enrolled at Goddard few years ago under the previous owners, Amy and John, and we genuinely felt good about the environment they had created. Their warmth and involvement were a big part of why we chose the school. When new ownership took over, things slowly began to shift. At first, I chalked it up to transition pains and told myself it might just be part of the process. Especially since I had no prior experience to compare it to. But over time, the changes became more obvious and harder to ignore. Longtime staff started leaving, and a revolving door of new faces took their place. One of the most noticeable differences was in the classroom experience itself. One example, in the early days, my son's teachers put so much thought and care into their lessons. If they read a book about butterflies, there would be a related craft--cut-out shapes, some prep work clearly done ahead of time, the kind of effort you'd expect in a thoughtful early learning environment. You could see and feel the intention behind it. But as time went on, that kind of quality just faded. Instead of meaningful activities, the kids were often given torn pieces of paper to scribble on. No connection to a lesson, no structure and It became visibly and tangibly clear that the care and planning were no longer there. Still, I kept wondering: maybe this is just what it's like? Maybe I'm expecting too much as a new mom who hasn't done this before? But after switching schools a few months ago, it became crystal clear--it wasn't me. Our new school has been a breath of fresh air. Communication is strong, the staff is happy and consistent, and there's a level of organization and warmth that I knew we were missing. In hindsight, I think the biggest issues at Goddard came down to two things: a lack of communication (sometimes I wouldn't hear back at all after several emails), and a lack of leadership that resulted in declining quality and consistency. By the time we left, the only classroom I felt truly confident in was the kindergarten one and from what I suspect that will be discontinued soon. I also understand the onsite owner may have stepped away, which might be for the best, as her presence was largely absent. I share all of this not out of bitterness, but in the hopes it might help another parent who's unsure of what "normal" or "good enough" should look like. I truly hope the school can find its footing again, because every child deserves an environment where they're nurtured, engaged, and truly cared for.
