The day school's Director was professional, well organized, and considerate. Everyone made us feel welcome and valued. I always felt comfortable with their policies and procedures and I knew my son was well cared for while he was at school. I especially appreciated the school's communication with parents during the onset of COVID, the temporary Spring 2020 closing, and their robust and well-thought out plan for reopening that fall. HFDS has a great program for young children and I highly recommend it.

I was also blown away by our initial tour. The classrooms were so orderly and peaceful, and the children were so happily engaged in their work. We've been with the school for the past four years now, and I've never regretted it once. My son is in Children's House and my daughter is in Lower Elementary. The teachers are all excellent and have allowed my children to make outstanding academic progress, and the overall atmosphere is warm, caring and family-like. I love how much the children learn without a lot of the negative pressure or homework that other schools seem to have. The atmosphere is also very sweet and my children have never had any kind of issues with other kids there. Overall, we're tremendously happy with the school. It feels like a bit of a hidden gem. My only criticism is that I wish they continued into later years!

His anxiety dropped tremendously and he really, really enjoys going to school now. He was like a completely different child after the transition. The lower elementary classroom runs so smoothly and the children learn so much in an environment that doesn't seem pressured or intense. My son is blossoming both academically and socially at McDonald Montessori and we will be very sad at the end of third grade when he has to move on.

do not enroll your kids here!!! you do not want to waste your time with this child care facility!…read morethe staff are wonderful. wonderful environment, safe for the most part aside from their own past issues regarding relationships in the church. (google the church) the problem is dependability! this daycare closes to often and routinely based off the public school system!!! if thier closed the daycare school is closed. mind you if its a slight weather condition. (closed) the slightest instance boom, closed! multiple other prominent daycare facilities are open. check for yourself! for the average business professional, every day family, your inconvenienced regularly! absurd is a understatement! if you need dependability, reliability so you can manage your professional life this is not the daycare you want to enroll your children in!!! they will close and delay opening routinely!!! do not take my word for it ask other parents. the sentiment is across the board!!! choose another school you'll be doing yourself a huge favor!!! majority of parents bring their kids to the school themselves!! so why the constant closures?!?! what liability?" is there? the church doesn't seem to recognize the concerns of its clients (parents/children)! #seepic

Where do I begin? I suppose somewhere in the beginning, middle, and end; it's all the same…read more The Goddard School is GREAT! Teachers - BOOM - AWESOME! Oh yeah, some stuff I really liked. My wife and I decided to place our daughter in Goddard. Why? Because we're smart [I think so]. There are many things to share about Goddard. The education was/is great, but there were little extra things that brought my wife and I mental comfort. Leaving your kid(s) with other people....at a place, can be weird. Not at Goddard. No odd smells, sticky surfaces, odd interactions with staff; education, order, structure, and fun was in the air. There's nothing but positives, but a few items of personal interest pop out in my mind. Communication. We were always consulted in advance of our child's progress through written documentation and daily reports via the Tadpoles App. I didn't really know the power of the application, but it was comforting and very informative. As parents, of course, we all wonder what happens to our kid(s) when they're not in our presence - normal. What the Tadpoles App did, was to allow parents to check the status of drop-off/pick-up times, daily activities, see pics, see videos, get notes from teachers, reminders, and much more. The impressive thing, the teachers were fantastic at keeping [us] parents informed using technology - EVERY DAY. Keep in mind, the use of this application wasn't the only thing Goddard did extremely well at. At The Goddard School, there is obviously a focus on learning, but the school as a whole has a very wide range of activities throughout the year. YOU will see and be IMPRESSED! Teachers and parents [us] were in constant communication no matter the circumstance. If my child did well or needed more improvement at home in an area of weakness, I was happy to employ and reinforce practices that helped the teachers during their day with our child. Likewise, I appreciated the attention that was given to our child. I have not a word of negativity to speak; I couldn't imagine it. Side-note. After spending half my life in the military, I've learned a few things about: - attention to detail - communication - cleanliness - training & education - safety - teamwork - security - good times! [Classified] ......shall I go on? Save yourself the dilemma and worry, Goddard has these components and more. If you're about making good choices, just bless your child with the gift of Goddard. You will not be sorry. You Will Be Happy! ~ Andrejs M.
