A nice, clean and friendly place. A good selection of food. My chicken fried steak was delicious!

Stopped by Casa Ramos, one of those neighborhood spots you hit when you want good food without all…read morethe hype. Prices are fair and the food delivers. I got the carne asada al mojo ($17) and a piña colada ($15), and both were solid. The meat had good flavor and the drink was refreshing -- did not disappoint. Service was friendly, just a little slow at the start waiting for someone to take our order, so that's why it's 4 stars instead of 5. Once we ordered, everything went smooth. Restrooms were clean, which matters. Parking is street parking, but that's pretty normal around the neighborhood. Overall, it's a chill local spot with good food and prices -- I'd come back for sure. ---

Went here on the recommendation of a few locals. Certainly not disappointed…read more Food and drinks were great - and service was above par. The decor and ambiance is much like other Midwestern Mexican restaurants, but has a different vibe. Stuck with seafood and vegetarian options. Diablo shrimp was good and the Chile Relleno made for some good breakfast leftovers. Recommend if you are in the Emporia area and looking for a relaxing evening.

4 Stars Golden Wok is a great choice for families,…read moreespecially if you're dining with kids and want good food at a reasonable price. Adults are $17.99, kids 10 years old are $8.50, and 3‑year‑olds are $5.00, which makes it a big win for parents feeding the whole family. There's plenty of variety, so everyone can find something they like, even picky eaters. The hibachi is amazing--fresh, flavorful, and fun to watch, which keeps kids entertained while food is being made. I wouldn't recommend the sushi since it's imitation seafood, but with so many other options, it's easy to skip and still be very satisfied. From a parent's point of view, this place works well. Service was fast and friendly, food was constantly being refilled, and we didn't feel rushed. The restaurant was clean, tables were cleared quickly, and the buffet stayed organized, which really matters when you're dining with kids. If you're looking for a place where kids eat well, adults enjoy the food, and the bill doesn't hurt, Golden Wok is a solid, stress‑free option. We left full, happy, and satisfied, and it's definitely a place we'd bring the family back to.

A full dessert buffet is presented as well. Then there is also an ice cream machine with both Chocolate and Vanilla available in a self serve cone or cup. The service was prompt and friendly. Wine Dive Kitchen is a lovely restaurant in downtown Manhattan…read more I found them on OpenTable and booked a reservation for dinner on a Friday night. We were able to get in at 8:15. It was a little late, but they were super busy with a large party in a private room. Once we got in and got seated, the delightful server took excellent care of us. My wife wasn't really hungry so she just nibbled off my plate. I started with a half of a wedge salad, which was delicious. They had a special on a piece of paper that night, which was a smoked pastrami, burnt ends sandwich with homemade rye bread. It was glorious! Very creative and fun. Since I don't love fries, they were kind enough to substitute deviled eggs as my side dish. I didn't know there would be an up charge for that but it's okay because they were delicious. We each had two drinks from the bar and they were made very well. They have a huge wine, seller and a great selection as one would expect by the name of the place. This restaurant has other locations in Lawrence and Wichita and I would eat at any of the three. Very cool menu and an amazing wine selection. This is really good food.

I was feeling something lighter, so ordered the Fattoush Salad and added salmon for a dinner meal and it was very good, though didn't wow me like my guy was raving about his burger! They had their wine menu on an iPad (wide selection + easily updated) that had everything from fancy bottles to affordable glasses. Don't skip the cheesecake if they have it either!
