Der Service war extrem freundlich und unsere Getränke kamen auch in einem angemessenen Zeitrahmen. Außerdem waren die jungen Männer, die uns unsere Getränke serviert haben, sehr niedlich durcheinander! Was zu viel Belustigung bei uns geführt hat. :-) Die Location finde ich auch ganz schön und ist mit dem Fahrrad gut zu erreichen. Eine schöne Alternative für laue Sommerabende!

I want to give it 4 stars, it has been improving over the last year, but it's still not there yet. The worst: the sound/acoustics are lousy and just too loud in general, but it is just a gym. If you want to see loud techno or heavy metal, it's fine. However, it seems to depend on the artist; I saw Gorillaz there recently and sound quality was great. Also annoying: lots of smoking and everything is cash only, with no ATMs inside. But it's easy to get to from public transit, easy to grab a beer on the way to a show, quick entry to the show, and then you are having fun. They've added alot of food shops inside recently that have good food actually. They get alot of good artists and shows. And generally, they have tons of bleachers available for seating, if you an old person at heart and just want to sit and watch a show. I'll still keep going and hoping they get better at what they are doing.

It might not be so great if it was raining, but, well, it wasn't :) It probably holds a few thousand, but isn't huge and the views are great from just about everywhere. The beer is, as you might suspect, rather pricey, but which concerts have cheap refreshments? One thing that I'll have to try one of these days is taking a picnic to the park while there's a band on. Apparently this is quite a tradition in Hamburg, and the sound definitely does travel out of the arena pretty well, so I'm sure a great time could be had.

Needless to say, the beer garden only had about 10 people there, watching a live rock and roll band who consisted of about 6 people; it was all very sad really. Just bought a coffee, you pay in one window and get your coffee from another. I am sure on a sunny afternoon or evening it could be really good here. I think it's actually a bit cheaper than the other too, and you don't have to pay a deposit on glasses (something that always irks me). That being said, if you come here to watch football you won't even get given glasses (just plastic) and that annoys me even more! Overall the location is decent, the food is alright and the beer is good, but you can do better elsewhere.
