Honestly, starting to get pretty tired over the lack of transparency and the games. Thought that the topanga location would be different as I initially had some early positive interactions but I'm really not sure what to do other than wait (possibly indefinitely?). I have had a milestone birthday recently come and go, am up for a big promotion at the end of the year and have had other considerable milestones just in the last few years (welcomed my son in 2024, bought a house in 2023) and have been trying to mark these occasions with a rolex for years, but the southern california market is just so difficult to get any traction anywhere. I feel like I'm going around trying to convince anyone to take my money! When I first started working with Rolex Topanga I thought I was treated at least a little more nicely but unfortunately it's still the same thing with no clear timeline as more celebratory moments come and go. I even serviced another rolex I had with them so there's at least a bit of spend (what else am I supposed to buy besides rolex to build history lol). Any way, same frustration lots of folks have with this. I'm half embarrassed I care so much, but I'll even be celebrating my 10 year anniversary next year and will probably have nothing to show for it. For my recent birthday I bought my wife a cartier but I'm still empty handed with nothing! All I ask is for a clear timeline - you can expect this watch by this date. I stopped by the Rolex boutique at Topanga just to look around and had the pleasure of meeting Kayla. Even though I wasn't there to make a purchase, Kayla was incredibly welcoming, patient, respectful, and professional. I've purchased watches as a way to commemorate a special event in my journey... I have been fortunate enough to have many special events. This purchase was probably one of the most peculiar and unsatisfying purchases for a rather large event in my life. Rolex has been a part of my collections since my first job out of school - I've worked with many AD's throughout the years... quite literally all around the globe. Rolex will continue to be a part of my collection but perhaps at locations that are a bit more consumer mindful. The actual purchase process was flawless - the individual was extremely helpful and to my expectations. What ensued after the purchase with my established Client Advisor was, let's say, lacking. It began with a text message that asked me, rather politely, to only deal with my established Client Advisor (who was not available when I messaged or came in) and to 'avoid going through multiple Client Advisors'. Then proceeded to inform me that all high demand pieces will require a wire transfer and holding of the purchased item for a few days until payment is cleared. Haven't ever had to do this with any other AD and for pieces that were far higher ticket value (including the dealer who used to be upstairs... oh how I miss them). To be fair - I understand the demand of these remarkable timepieces. This in no way excuses this level of gatekeeping. I'm disappointed that this purchase turned out this way. Rolex will continue to be in my collection but not sure if Polacheck's will. read more

I visited this shop, because I knew the exact watch model, which is one of the new models for this year, that I wanted to see. The girl assigned to assist me really had no interest in assisting me. While they escorted me into the shop, there was no offer to create a profile or document any interest I have in the watch, despite being told over the phone that they would do that. I, even, asked, her about it, and she evaded the question. There was no interest in showing me any other watches when I wanted to shop for larger sized watch. There was no interest in even saying good-bye to me when I thanked the girl for showing me 2 watches. I think I spent about 7 minutes with her, and it was painful. Be extremely cautious when buying from Rolex at the Topanga location. They removed the stickers and sized my watch without ever clearly stating that doing so would make it final sale. These are shady tactics designed to trap you into the purchase. Even worse -- I bought the watch on 6/19/2025, and the certificate inside was already dated 6/16/2025. That's highly suspicious. It feels like they were just trying to unload a watch that had already been returned by someone else. Double-check everything before you leave that store. Ask questions, inspect your purchase thoroughly, and don't let them rush or distract you. The luxury experience you expect from Rolex was completely missing here -- and that's unacceptable. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this Rolex store. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was far below the standard you would expect from a luxury brand. The staff was dismissive and made me wait one hour 45 minutes outside the store without receiving any response from the sales person named Chief as if my presence was an inconvenience. Instead he was busy with the dog of the security guard of the mall and the store security guard of the store. Instead offering me to come in. All sales staff 5 of them standing with no customers to serve until one hour and 45 minutes went back to the store complaining . were finally a sales lady Mona served me for information about the watches. When you visit a Rolex store, you expect respect, knowledge, and genuine service, but unfortunately, none of that was provided here. From Chief It felt more like I was being judged than valued as a potential client. This is not the experience one should have when considering such an important and expensive purchase.
