I made the decision to start researching attorneys. I Googled, Yelped and even ChatGPT'ed. Joseph Collier was at the top of all those searches. I reached out to 5 different attorneys and made the choice to work with Mr Collier because of his timely responses and how he clearly explained his process. It was all very clear and concise. He was incredibly informative and guided me every step of the way. I'm a huge rule follower so I had a ton of anxiety but Mr Collier kept my mind at ease and assured me throughout the process that I was doing everything correctly. If I ever had questions about anything, we would get back to me within 24 hours. We started the process in March 2026 and everything was finalized last week July 2026. I don't plan on going through this again but if I have friends or acquaintances asking for a referral, Joseph Collier will be the first name I tell them. I highly recommend his service.

From the first moment you come through the doors, you are met with professionalism, kindness, and an amazing staff (particularly, Alejandra, who is the heart and soul of the office.) So I can say that Michael is professional, the man knows his stuff, and he's well known and respected by the judges and court in the area; we were definitely in the best bankruptcy hands! When our court day came I was one of the only ones with representation (an assistant, or someone from the firm, met me there) and that made a world of difference. So many before me were asked why no one was there to represent them and asked a bunch of questions (some were told to come back with missing paperwork. Some Sere denied. And only a few made it through). I was told that Michael was known and the judges didn't give his clients a hard time because they knew Michael was on his stuff. Sure enough, the judge asked me a few questions and I was done! You may not get that warm fuzzy feeling, he's more "let's get down to business". but at the end of the day- he does just that!

This is the second time my family has used Abkarian Law Group, and both experiences have been excellent. They have always been there to answer our questions, returned our calls and emails promptly, and made sure we understood what was happening throughout the process. They were also very fair and generous when it came to their fee. Since this was our second time working with them, they reduced their fee for us as returning clients, which meant a lot to our family. Most importantly, the outcome was better than we initially anticipated, and we couldn't be happier with the results. When you are dealing with a legal matter, you want attorneys you can trust, who will communicate with you and genuinely care about helping you. That has absolutely been our experience with this firm. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an attorney. After two great experiences with this firm, I would absolutely choose them again and recommend them to anyone looking for an attorney they can trust. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with this law firm. Before moving forward with my…read morecase, I made it very clear that I did not have the financial means to cover medical bills out of pocket. I repeatedly asked whether my case was strong enough to pursue, and I was consistently reassured that it was. Based on that reassurance, I agreed to move forward. However, the outcome did not reflect the confidence that was initially communicated, and I was ultimately left in a difficult financial position. One of my biggest concerns was the lack of direct communication. Despite requesting to speak with the attorney handling my case, I never had the opportunity to do so. Instead, I was assigned a case manager who, in my experience, did not seem fully informed about the details or progress of my case. Overall, I feel that my expectations were not properly managed, and I wish there had been more transparency about the risks involved. I would encourage others to make sure they have direct access to their attorney and a clear understanding of potential outcomes before proceeding. I need to correct several points in your response because that was not my experience. At no point did I have a direct conversation with you where any of this was clearly explained. In fact, despite multiple requests to speak with the attorney handling my case, I was never given that opportunity. All communication was handled through a case manager, who, from my understanding, had very limited experience at the time and was not able to adequately answer my questions or explain the situation in detail. Before moving forward, I repeatedly asked whether this was a case worth pursuing, specifically because I could not afford to take on medical expenses without a reasonable expectation of recovery. I relied on the reassurance provided by your office. If this case was truly as limited as you are now stating, that should have been clearly and directly communicated to me by the attorney not relayed indirectly or left unclear. Instead, my case was taken on, I proceeded with treatment, and then the case was dropped shortly after, leaving me in a difficult financial position. To make matters worse, I was not even properly notified that my case had been dropped. For something this serious, that level of communication is unacceptable. That financial impact may not seem significant from your perspective, but for an everyday person, it absolutely is. This is exactly why I asked those questions upfront. This experience reflects a lack of direct communication and transparency, which is the main issue I raised in my original review.
