I started seeing her about one problem, and then two other traumatic things occurred in my life. She continued to support me and we had very helpful, calming sessions that brought me back to my normal base. She was very insightful, and didn't overreact to my state of mind, while still taking me very seriously. She didn't try to stretch out the sessions, either. Although she was willing to have more sessions, if I wanted them, we both felt that I was in a good place and had a good handle on things, and had learned some very helpful ways of looking at situations and my emotional reaction and thoughts about them. I highly recommend Brook as a psychotherapist, and would not hesitate to use her services again, if I need to.

Then they want you to let them keep your credited card on file so they can charge whatever they say insurance doesn't. I was told by the therapist that I didn't have to and they would handle the billing both for primary and secondary. So they reschedule me and I wait for 3 months, if I remember correctly to get in to see another doctor. They had 3 months to bill me but never said a word. They are great at sending stupid repetitive reminders asking you to fill out paperwork that you already filled out. I finally get in and right away they tell me I have a deductible that I have to pay and the person. Who told me I didn't have to pay and they would bill secondary is not available.

Instead of trying to help me he spent the whole time being condescending. I just wouldn't go here if you are looking for people that genuinely care about you because you will not find that. The whole place felt stuffy and anxiety inducing. I am not financially well off and to know my money was wasted on having someone essentially insult my entire existence the whole time hurts. I have great distrust for mental health institutions and that only grows with most of the experiences I have. This place was honestly worse than I have grown to expect.
