Highly recommended by locals. Easy to find website to buy tickets. Weird meeting place at a public state park under a random bridge. Don't worry when you follow the directions on where to park and see no business or signs. They literally meet under the bridge next to the parking lot. The boats will arrive at a small metal dock near the bridge. Before the boats arrived we started seeing others gathering and a random woman approached us to check us in and arrange the people waiting by how many are in their party. We finally boarded the boat and the fun began! The captan made sure to offer speed boat thrills on the way to Discovery Park. We were drenched and our backpacks soaked after a few minutes. We were cooled down from the extreme temperatures of 119 that day. Discovery park was surprisingly a strip of land that straddles the rouge river and an enormous pond. The land area is a few acres with a full bar/snack bar, covered tables, gift shop, porta potties, misting coolers, trees for shade, grassy places to set up a picnic blanket, music and more. Of course the main attraction is the huge pond with a floating dock, slide, pedal boats, paddle boards, life vests, etc. We enjoyed 3 hours of water play, snacks, and relaxing in the shade. First time visit. Boat ride was great...kids had a lot of fun. Staff was great as we did not know this was. 2 1/2 hour stay at the park so they made sure we made our trip to the park by holding a spot on one of the first boats for us. These guys don't mess around when it comes to ensuring riders have a great time. We opted for the #1 Jetboat discovery tour and I'm SO glad we did. This tour is 2.5 hours from start to finish. Check-in is at the edge of the parking lot and the dock is just down a small hill from there. They load and unload right on time, so be ready. We called ahead to see if dogs were allowed on the boat, but there's a size limit, so we weren't able to bring the dog. HOWEVER, they texted later to say they have pet sitters available if one was needed. I think this is such a cool service to offer to customers who may be traveling, like us, and might not be able to leave their pet behind. Taylor, one of the owners, was our guide. Because he and his wife are long time residents of Rogue Valley, he was incredibly knowledgeable about the history in the area and this beautiful river valley. We learned so much about history prior to and after US settlement on this tour. There were several kids on board and he asked some cool questions they could be involved in. Of course the highlight for the everyone was the many high speed 360* spins Taylor made with the boat! Smiles and giggles all around. This tour included a 45 min stop on Discovery Park island. You can bring a small cooler on board, which we did, but you can buy drinks and some food/snack items as well (including beer). You can rent peddle boats, SUP boards, and fishing gear for a small fee. They take credit cards and cash. They also hide stone arrowheads throughout the property for younger kids to find and take home as a souvenir, free. It's a lot of fun. The final leg is just as thrilling, with more history and spins. I highly recommend this experience for people of any age! It's is reasonably priced and worth every penny. read more

This was my second experience with Rogue Jet Boats and Adventure. I had such a great time on the water the first time, I invited girlfriends to come up for the weekend to experience this together. I noticed the route had totally changed and we didn't see the many sites as the previous tour/ride. Our time on the Island was much longer than in the past. If you have kids they would probably love the island inflatables. If you are looking for an afternoon of thrills I'd look elsewhere. read more

Great experience! We went down the rogue river and learned about history while taking in beautiful views. The captain, John, made it really fun and informative. After the boar ride up river he took us downriver where he dropped us of at the discovery Island and the fun began. They had paddle boards, pedal boats, life jackets, fishing poles and of course the inflatable aqua glide. There was also food and drinks, other games for the ones that don't like to get wet like corn hole, volleyball, ax throwing, see saw and a playground. This was such a fun thing to do with our family when we were traveling through Southern Oregon. Our two boys, 8 and 13, had a blast! Great to hear the history of the area. Our guide, Steve, was spectacular. He made the trip so much fun. There was a person on our boat who had gone 6 times with another popular jet boating company in the area and she said that this was a way better experience than the other one. We picked Rogue Jet Boat Adventures because it was close and it had the stop at Discovery Park Island. We enjoyed our guide, Steve, as he was knowledgeable, funny, and friendly. The boat was smaller than the other jet boat tour we've been on elsewhere; however, that just made it more intimate. Once at Discovery Park Island, we were the first in the water! We had the slip-n-slide and slide to ourselves for a bit, but others soon joined. Wish we could have stayed longer than an hour, but that was the excursion we picked. Family friendly, as it was a Monday afternoon. I'd save a Friday and Saturday night for the older adventures (beer, wine and food service available). We had a great time. Went to Rogue Adventure Island last week. Boat ride was great going there they have a good ladder to load but on the way back they didn't use a very sturdy one. So not ideal if needing something more soild getting out of the boat. The adventure park was very clean and well kept with much to do. Food was more snack like but fair priced. Only thing that kinda caught me off guard was when you walk up there is a sign about tipping the Captain which is fine but as we were closing out our tap my daughter was asked if I was going to tip now or later. I've never been asked something like that, then later that day we got a email about tipping. I did tip when we got food but other then that you are on your own so I was just a little surprised. Overall I would recommend to others and go again. read more

We had an amazing day today! The Rogue Jet Boat ride to and from Discovery Park was so fun! Our 5 yr old (and us adults) had a blast on the inflatable obstacle course and slide! The jet boat trip is fabulous. You can take small children and include grandparents. Its fun, it's exciting, lots of nature to see and lots of white water and fun getting wet. Its also safe and takes no effort on the part of the participants other than getting into the boats. The guides are knowledgeable and explain different historical and cultural facts pertaining to the river and the places you pass . Only negative is the food at break in the river run. It's okay at best. It is included in your fare, but is provided by restaurants upriver. Again, its okay, but is mostly bbq. The sides aren't great. It is plentiful. read more

Boat ride was fun, fast enough, and refreshing on a hot day. The discovery park portion of the trip was so fun. Not crowded and there were so many fun things for the kids to do. Stand up paddles, paddle boats, etc and blow up floating obstacle course ... love how they also had so many life vests of all sizes for the kids. The facilities and equipment were also very clean. They had shaded areas with benches for groups to eat and had light sprinklers on from top of trees to keep guests cool! Drinks on tab were refreshing. Wanted to order fries but no fryer. We did the Friday afternoon Happier Hour jet boat ride and had the best time. One of our guests needed mobility help getting on and off the boat the the crew was terrific. The ride was beautiful at 6 pm in the shadows of Table Rock, the music was a nice background for our party of 12, the kids loved swimming and canoeing and the food was very satisfying. Great experience! We took our 4 year old son to his second year of jet boats for his birthday. There were about 14 of us (family) and we all had our own boat. Tyler, the captain, was very informative, friendly, and knows how to drive! We also enjoyed the stop we had at discovery park(?). What a beautiful stop. We had such a fun time on Rogue jet boat adventures on August 5th. Two and a half hours of fun. Our guide explained that if he tooted the horn two times, we were being forewarned to brace ourselves as he skillfully turned the jet boat into a 360 spin from which folks on board got wet. It was screaming fun. We saw so many beautiful homes, osprey nests, and beautiful wildlife as well as gorgeous vegetation. Our guide explained some of the history of the area. Table Top Mtn was in view of our ride. 45 minutes on Discovery Park..buy a snack, beverage,ride paddle boats, swim, sit in the shade. Then back in the jet boat for more ride, spins and spraying other boaters in inflatable rafts with water. Getting whipped felt good on a hot day on the river.
