I didn't even realize i'd been hacked until Wells' Fraud Detection department alerted me. I am so grateful. My accounts were immediately put on hold and a new account was set up. Unfortunately I didn't have the new acct # and I needed access so I wouldn't default on bills set up with auto pay. I went to a regular teller window thinking I'd have to wait for an account manager but Jason (you are a wonderful wonderful person, Jason) was able to take care of all of my questions and patiently set me up so I could start my tedious recovery process. If they would send me an email, all would be well. Other businesses do this. The guy had to connect me to their "second tier" because I needed an exception, he said. The second tier guy, some young punk, said that the best he could do was to give me an access code today, and "hopefully" the phone system would work out its kinks. I said, was that the best you can do? Hopefully?! I've had to call these clowns three times in the past over phone issues. A couple of those times were on silent phone calls. Naturally, my righteous ire was raised when he said "hopefully." I told him that I didn't want to have to call again when their system probably wouldn't let me access my account. My voice was louder in intensity, and that must have ruffled the poor snowflake's feathers--I did not cuss at him, though--and he said, alright, since you can't be professional about this, I'm terminating this call. And he hung up on me. And of course, online banking issues cannot be handled at your branch office--you must call, wade through the menu, and be put on hold listening to their insipid music. So this is Umpqua Bank's idea of customer "service." I suggest that you find another bank to put your hard-earned money. These guys obviously couldn't care less.

Chase started charging service fees after 10 years of not charging service fees. DO NOT BANK WITH CHASE! They are crooks. They do not care about people nor do they HONOR their word about their account policies.

I highly recommend using another financial institute for auto loans…read more I called on 06/01/2023 and told them the new address to mail our titles to and confirmed pay off for two vehicles. I mailed the check that afternoon. The loan department claims that on 06/20/2023 they mailed our titles to our OLD address, which is in another state. My husband has spoken to them twice to inquire about the missing titles, them assuring us they were mailed. Our old address on file is my parents house, they saved every piece of mail sent to us. The titles were never sent there. Today I called again about the titles, the woman I spoke to told me there is nothing they can do because there is no record of an address change and they don't typically change addresses over the phone- something I was not informed of. However she is mailing a cashiers check to our address and closing our account. I find it very interesting that she is able to do all of that over the phone with ZERO signatures or even speaking to the main account holder (my husband). Now because of their incompetence we are required to file a lost title for two of our vehicles, which will cost us a minimum of $202 of dollars.
