A lot of the time it's slow Armenian music playing, and while there's nothing wrong with that, more kid-friendly music like Kidz Bop or upbeat playground songs would make the environment feel more fun and energetic for all families and kids.

Planning my toddler's birthday with them was unnecessarily stressful because communication was consistently poor. Calls and texts often went unanswered for over a week, and because they do not offer face-to-face meetings, there was no reliable way to resolve questions. When I voiced concern, I was told my event was still months away and I was "not a priority," which was incredibly unprofessional and made me feel dismissed as a customer. Unfortunately, the problems continued with the event itself. I was promised three party helpers for an event with 80 guests, including many children, but only two were provided, which was inadequate support. While I have payed for their highest full party package they did not have a lighter to light the birthday candles. They also told me that I have to bring my own ice for beverages. I had also specifically requested a fairy character, and only a few days before the party I was informed the fairy was unavailable. Even more concerning, I was told I had never requested one in the first place. I had to provide screenshots proving I had made that request. Had I not kept documentation, my concern would have simply been denied. The most disappointing part was the pattern of poor communication, defensiveness, and failure to honor what was promised. After sharing my experience, several friends told me they had gone through similar issues, so this does not appear to be an isolated incident. We used to come here regularly for open play, but after this experience, neither my friends nor I have returned. The facility may be enjoyable for children, but based on customer service and event coordination alone, I would not recommend booking a party here.

It was small but I guess that's all my daughter needed. Looks more of a party spot as the front had tables and chairs and had a balloon arch. The back half was a small ball pit, a small trampoline, some toys and some squishy play areas. It was $15 an hour but you probably don't need more than that. It was 90 degrees outside, has to ask the guy to turn on the AC, which he did. Overall this place was okay - mostly clean but they could have kept it up better since no one else was there. Also a few broken toys.

The staff is super friendly and absolutely incredible in many many ways ... they helps us with so much of the food setup and decorating and even helped us during the ceremony. The playground itself is sooo fun and so interactive, so many games and activities available for all ages. The patio area was so beautiful and relaxing. The bathrooms were so clean and so convenient if you have young kids with diapers. Overall my experience was so positive and lovely that we can't wait to go back for open play time and to have family events and even my sons birthday there. Thank you again for your wonderful staff.

Jesse Owens park is one of my favorite local neighborhood parks to take the kids!…read more One of the things I appreciate most about this park is that it is fully gated, which gives me a little extra peace of mind when the kids are playing. There's plenty for them to enjoy, including two swings, a slide, a climbing area, a mini rock-climbing wall, and, best of all, a mini racetrack where the kids can have fun and create their own races. It's such a fun little feature that keeps them entertained! There's also a large grassy area in the back, which is perfect for bringing your own soccer ball and letting the kids run around and enjoy the open space. Another big plus is that the park has its own bathrooms. I always appreciate this because not every neighborhood park has them, especially when you're spending a few hours there with little ones. The only thing I wish they had was a designated parking lot. There is free parking across White Oak, as well as street parking available in the back, so parking is still pretty convenient.

Date: February 1, 2025…read more I think this is my first review of 2025! Woowoo! That's what motherhood does to ya. I had this park bookmarked for a while now and decided to check it out today. We were actually around the area for lunch but didn't plan to go to a park and ended up driving back this way for it. Read the reviews and was excited to check it out and I'm so glad we did! As a recent mom of three, I felt so comfortable and safe solo watching my kids here. It's a nice playground in the middle of a fenced off grassy area with a restroom right by it. I loved that the restroom was right next to the playground to make a quick trip and not worry too much about my kiddos playing. They have a bunch of trees and also shaded top above so it was nice even though it was hitting 80F still! Surprisingly all the parents around were super attentive to their kids and made sure nobody was hurting another. I heard so many kids apologize for accidentally bumping into other kids and it just felt so nice to be in a kid area with kids who were well behaved, especially bc of my toddlers. Restrooms weren't too bad for a park. Not the cleanest but definitely not the worst I've been to. Overall I'm so happy we found this park and we will definitely be back more often!

There was also a ton of shade, which was great for us, and plenty of walkways for rollerblading or going for a stroll. I came here for the Memorial Day ceremony. I had never been to this park before and didn't know it…read morehad memorial plaques for people in our city who died in various wars. The ceremony included reading each of their names out loud and placing a rose on the plaque that matched the war they died in. WWII had the most roses and deaths. They had one of the fire trucks lift up a huge American flag next to the regular sized flags of the branches of our military which surround a pilar with a live flame. There was also a live band, singers, and flybys by planes in formation. It was a very solemn and respectful ceremony to honor those who died on duty. After the ceremony, I stayed at the park for a bit longer laying a towel on the grass under a tree. I don't know if it was just the spot I picked, but even though it was really grassy, underneath it was really muddy, like when I finally got up my towel was soaked through and so was my back. Then I got lost trying to find where I parked because the park is bigger than it looks and has 3 parking lots. I thought there was only 1, so I didn't pay that much attention when I walked towards the ceremony. When I tried getting back to my car I honestly thought it might have been towed. Now I know there's a parking lot by the building that leads to the swimming pool, another next to the swimming pool itself so you can actually see the water, and the last one is next to the tennis courts and baseball field. This doesn't include the parking spots all around the perimeter of the park. The park is clean, has plenty of playgrounds for children, tables and benches to eat at, and a public restroom. It's not the quietest of parks, though, since there are so many children and it's next to a busy intersection, like during the ceremony a trash truck and a random car honked their horns in support of the ceremony. Otherwise, it really is a nice park with plenty of amenities.
