The day…read moreI came in to buy homeowners insurance from him he assured me that if anything happened to my above ground pool, my policy would cover it. That day I told him that I specifically needed coverage for the fence that enclosed my property as well as my above ground pool. He assured me that the specific policy through State Farm homeowners he recommended would definitely cover if anything happened to it. I even asked him if I needed a separate rider and he assured I did not. in February of this year my pool collapsed. He found a "pool expert" to come out and assess the damage. Evidently State Farm does not send out adjusters to assess damage. That was according to the claims department.The expert said that it was winter storm damage and that they had had several customers this past winter who had the same claim. It has been four months since this happened and I am still trying to get State Farm to cover what they promised. Throughout all of this Jason has consistently assured me that I am covered under section B of my homeowners. Yet I had to hire an attorney, and I am still fighting the claim. They rejected the claim on eight separate occasions, for reasons ranging from "earth movement" to "not sure what happened" to " can't figure out what the named peril is". Jason has totally absolved himself of any responsibility to helping solve the issue. I find him to be totally dishonest and inexperienced. I would never recommend anyone purchase a policy through this man.
