She was extremely pleased. She said they worked seamless as a team, and even climbed up into the one tree to do the trimming rather than using ladders. The trees are blunt cut across the top (not my preference, but she was happy with it). My next door neighbor had an old, medium sized tree within about 2 feet of the property line and…read moreanother 2 feet to our driveway, which needed to come out. Sadly, she choose D&R Tree Service for the job. -Two trucks show up and park in front of the neighbor's property, but mostly blocking our entire small court. -Worker one steps into OUR driveway, pulls up and removes OUR camera and post off OUR property and relocates it on its side father up the driveway. -Workers chainsaw directly through the large main truck of the tree (no sissy v-cutting for them!) and purposely drop it across the adjacent four feet of property onto our driveway, filling the entire width of the driveway. -It misses our car, parked on that side of the driveway by a single foot. -The tree is the equal distance to the road, although their trucks are blocking that drop area. -The tree, being so close to the joint edge of our property also, in addition to the street, has more(way more) than sufficient room to be dropped into the neighbors yard. Now, I have an entire tree blocking a double driveway. I am not happy. I am even less happy when I discover that it has caused several holes in the concrete of a BRAND NEW DRIVEWAY COMPLETED IN JUNE. I am even less happy when our neighbor (a friend) tells us she specifically instructed them not to in any way infringe on our property. Can I get any more unhappy? Yes, the owner, who I called as soon as I tore out the door and said WTF to the workers, calls me back and is just short of rude. He's sorry, but stuff happens. If I'll just let him give our information to "his cement guy" (who knew a Tree Service would have cement guys on call!?) he'll get it repaired - sometime. Apparently, he is miffed at the neighbor when he finds out he won't be paid for the work (demanded from her as soon as I made the very first call, smacking of a quite some desperation) until we are all satisfied with the resolution of the problem THEY CAUSED. Duh. Needles to say, under no circumstances would I recommend D&R Tree Service.
