I am 76 yo and I do have a disability which makes this type of work impossible for me, so I must hire someone to do it. They did not even ask me if I would pay for them to do the splitting. Very disappointed that I still have to deal with this, and will probably look elsewhere next year. Given the price I pay I want my firewood ready to burn. Is that asking too much?

We called Josh Quaade with Strong Roots Tree Service in Princeton, Idaho to remove 2 large…read morePonderosa Pine trees from around our house. Exactly 2 weeks to the day, he finished the job and we are so pleased. Strong Roots took down the first mature pine limb by limb, because its location and its condition were threatening our house. They made it a science to do the job correctly, measuring, attaching lines to keep big limbs from dropping in bad spots, not touching a single branch until they were sure it was all safe. They really knew what they were doing. The other tree, they just felled. But what is almost more astonishing is how they thoroughly cleaned up both sites. Except for the stumps, which we don't mind, you wouldn't be able to tell two huge trees were just removed from our home site. Five stars and a great big shout out to Strong Roots Tree Service. Their quote was reasonable and fair. Their work was first rate.

l My experience with Guardian Property Services involved…read moreseveral concerns related to communication and maintenance. Communication issues occurred both with me as the client and, based on my observations, among workers, office staff, and bookkeeping personnel. The company did not consistently follow the written contract. The agreement stated that pruning and trimming would be performed as needed, but branches were allowed to hang over the driveway and into the street, creating difficulties for garbage pickup and general access. Ornamental plants were also allowed to spread beyond their designated growing areas and encroach on the sidewalk. In addition, one plant was removed, but the stump was left behind rather than being fully extracted. While some basic work was completed, there were concerns regarding communication and adherence to the maintenance standards outlined in the agreement. Based on this experience, I would not choose to rehire this company
