The staff are friendly and accommodating We ate dinner in the Grill on the Casino Floor our first night there. The taco plate was delicious and we were treated very well. One issue we encountered was no coffee available anywhere in the hotel before 8 am when the casino opens. We tried going to the grill for breakfast one morning and left because of construction noise. It was horribly loud! There is a travel center affiliated with the hotel nearby but too far away to walk over to get coffee. The staff there was extremely friendly. We had a yummy breakfast burrito there one morning. We were very happy with our stay

Also, there were 2 gentleman at the front desk, Ruben and Gavin who have made my stay this evening even better!!!! They are really cool guys, extremely personable, helpful with the city and the hotel's amenities. I cant say enough good things about these 2 employees. With people like this at your front desk, you will sure to have long standing repeat customers. This hotel has definitely saved my Sante Fe, and work conference experience.

This used to be our go-to hotel whenever we visited Santa Fe. After 15+ years of family trips and…read morestays here, we'll unfortunately be looking elsewhere. The biggest issue is security. During our most recent stay, our vehicle was one of at least three that were broken into with many very large/heavy items stolen overnight while parked in the hotel's paid parking lot. The lack of security measures, whether cameras, patrols, or staff presence, was disappointing and left us feeling unsupported after the incident. What was even more frustrating was management's response. When the answer to multiple vehicle break-ins is as we were told by the GM - there's nothing we can do and that cameras don't deter theft or help identify thieves - it's time for us to stay somewhere else. We understand that crime can happen anywhere, but guests paying for parking should reasonably expect the property to take security seriously and make an effort to protect them. What makes this especially difficult is that we've always loved this property. The hotel has a historic charm, a great location that makes it easy to explore Santa Fe on foot, and while the rooms aren't luxury accommodations, they always felt comfortable and familiar - like a home away from home. Through the years, the staff has consistently been friendly and welcoming. That's what makes this review so disappointing to write. What was once a 5-star experience for our family has dropped to about a 3-star experience because we no longer feel confident that our vehicle and belongings are safe while staying here.

I have been coming to Santa Fe for more than 35 years, always staying at our family home. When that home was sold two years ago, this became the first time my husband and I needed to find a hotel for one of our visits. Because Santa Fe feels like a second home to us--and because we were returning to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary--I did a tremendous amount of research before booking. We chose the Drury Plaza Hotel because we wanted to be within easy walking distance of the historic Plaza while still receiving genuine value. The included breakfast and evening Happy Hour were major deciding factors. Happy Hour includes drinks and enough substantial food that it can easily serve as dinner after a full day of sightseeing, adding meaningful value to the stay. The location could not have been better. Each morning, I walked to the Plaza before my husband woke up, and we could hear the bells from the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi. We also took several day trips to nearby areas, and the Drury was an ideal home base for everything we wanted to explore. We stayed for 4 nights and 5 days. The rooftop pool and Jacuzzi were another highlight. We enjoyed beautiful Santa Fe sunsets from the rooftop and returned later to soak in the Jacuzzi and gaze at the stars. Those quiet moments became some of our favorite memories from the trip. A pro tip for future guests: on the second floor, at the end of the hallway, there is a lovely "secret garden" lawn area with tables and chairs. Relatively few guests seem to know about it, but you can take your Happy Hour food and drinks outside and enjoy a peaceful setting away from the activity of the main hotel spaces. It was an unexpectedly blissful little retreat. As the former CEO of a destination event-planning business, I also paid attention to the hotel's conference rooms and event facilities. Any company or organization hosting a corporate meeting, retreat, or special event would likely find this property especially appealing. The combination of location, guest amenities, gathering spaces, and walkability makes it a strong option for groups wanting both convenience and an authentic Santa Fe experience. The hotel itself is lovely, welcoming, and exceptionally well positioned, but here is what other reviews may not fully capture: the staff is everything. They are the true difference-makers. We were told that employees are hired, in part, because they genuinely enjoy people, and that quality is evident in every interaction. The front desk staff looked up, made eye contact, and greeted us whenever we passed rather than remaining focused solely on their computer screens. The valet team warmly welcomed us each time we returned. Angela was especially warm and welcoming during Happy Hour. Jo made us feel genuinely special, while Josephine stood out for her calm, gracious leadership and her ability to remember and acknowledge us whenever we returned to the hotel. Marco and Angel were also superstars at the rooftop bar. The hotel proactively asks whether guests are celebrating anything, and the team actually pays attention to the response. We did not request anything special, yet we received a complimentary suite upgrade for our anniversary, along with a bottle of wine and a card signed by members of the staff. Those thoughtful touches meant a great deal to us. We also experienced a power outage during our stay, and that unexpected moment revealed just how well prepared the team was. Staff members were positioned at critical points throughout the building, calmly guiding guests, opening doors, and providing assistance. Service culture and training often reveal themselves most clearly when something does not go according to plan, and this team rose beautifully to the occasion. The Drury Plaza Hotel gave us the location, amenities, value, and atmosphere we were seeking, but the people are what made our anniversary stay truly memorable. After more than three decades of visiting Santa Fe, we are grateful to have found a hotel that now feels like part of our connection to the city. We will absolutely return.

When they decided to make their annual trips to Santa Fe a quarterly affair, they found El Corazon to be a great second home. I've had the pleasure of staying at the residence twice since they purchased. As a person who has traveled to Santa Fe 20 times throughout my life, I can attest to how wonderful this place truly is. The units come in two sizes, the Terra and the Montañas (the latter being larger). While my parents own a Montañas, I have also stayed in the Terra. I found both to be wonderful, but thought that Montañas was far superior. The Terra units, while quite luxurious, lacked sufficient amounts of storage space (like a closet in the smaller bedroom and towel racks in the hall bathroom). The Montañas has everything a family or group would need in a second home. The units are beautiful, both inside and outside. The furnishings and appliances are top quality. Plus, for an added fee, you can get daily or weekly maid service in your condo. While there is a limited amount of parking outside of the units, there is a large, underground parking garage that residents and guests may use. Another really nice aspect of El Corazon is the clubhouse. In this area, one can enjoy a light snack, speak with concierge staff, and make use of the business and (small) workout center. Plus, if you prefer a larger workout facility, spa, and pool, El Corazon has an agreement with La Posada Spa and Resort, which is less than a mile away from the property. El Corazon is managed by Fairmont--and it shows. If you've stayed in Fairmont hotels, you will understand the true quality of the chain. The concierge staff is absolutely amazing. They attend to every need of each guest, and are very knowledgeable about current happenings around town. The maintenance staff is also excellent, and when called, are at your door in a jiffy. I highly recommend El Corazon de Santa Fe!
