We wandered around and checked out the variety of products they offer. The store is laid out very nicely. On checkout, we mentioned it was our first visit there, and we got two free sausages of our choice. Can't beat that. We cooked the chicken thighs that night. They were tender and delicious. We had the chili verde day yesterday. We slow cooked it in the afternoon, and enjoyed it in the evening. This is a very comfortable place to shop and we're looking at going back. I asked about their signature marinade to get an idea of flavors and they stated it was like a Mexican polo flavor. I made it with some white rice and it worked out really well. The chicken breasts were so thick! You could easily filet them and double your amount. They also didn't appear to have the white lines that I see in the supermarket chicken breasts. I've read those are due to hormones in the chickens. Is it true? I don't know. They have a nice variety of cuts and if you like sausage, they have several flavors! Definitely worth checking out. The shop isn't very big but they have pretty much all the basics you would need if you're planning a BBQ or a simple meal for you and your family. Overall, the shop is clean and tidy.
