The last time I went was to visit the fabulous craft centre, but I had to buy a plant too as there stock is wonderful. A huge selection of all sorts of plants and people who can help. From small seedlings to large trees. Flower pots and all equipment is also on sale. Designer type of wellies and jumpers and fleeces are on sale and so many other things that you now find in a garden centre, like candles and ornaments. You can have a coffee or a light snack at the restaurant and large groups can be catered for in advance.

We have done all the usual - bought the 3 way soil meter, the citrus feed and brought it in for the winter. I rang Dobbies this morning to ask their advice and after eventually getting through the advice I got was poor to say the least. The young girl was to and fro from the person who could help me because he was serving and made the suggestion it was a watering fault. I explained we monitored it closely but it didn't seem to matter. I also needed other advice on potting and when to put it out but all I got was an hmmm. She didn't even offer to take my number for someone to call me back. Sorry Dobbies - last time I spend £90 on a tree at your shop. I'll take my custom elsewhere.

Shopped here again this week , covered xmas gifts and motherinlaws garden statue plus a few pets…read moresupplies. this truly is an amazin store, like a tardis from the outside you cant imagine what an emporium of items lie within. This local shop has been here on the circle for over 50 years to my knowledge the current owner is the 3rd generation of lennons to be providing such great service.In current ecnomic climate it is nice to see small family business still survive here on the circle. If you are local you should alredy know this shop, if you havent been lately , you should. we need more independent shops like ths where customer service is still above profits. Thanks you matthew and yoour team , i have been coming here for half a century and hope to continue to do so for a while longer.
