Let me see, where do I start? I have read the other reviews and am glad they did a good job on single family homes. However I have a different story, this was a 4 story build. There were multiple issues, A wheel barrel thrown off the roof of the 4 story build. Tar got into the ac condensate line that 3 of the 4 units had to have the walls cut open and the pipe changed out. On the first floor we had to have the foundation of the residents patio dug up to get the condensate line replace under the patio. Rocky said it was not them. They also closed off one of the mansard hatches on the roof. Their office could not get the invoices correct they had the build numbers and invoices missed matched, and after I sent them copies of the invoices they sent us and gave them a copies of the checks we sent to them their office still could not comprehend the invoice was paid, they even threatened going to court, I was ready as I had all my paperwork in order (it never went to court), I even offered to go to the office and help them out. There were a total of 4 buildings that were 4 stories that were contracted with Rocky to re-roof. There were 2 fires that got out of hand from the tar pot and the fire department had to be called. Im glad that the people that hired this company for a single family house we satisfied However I would not recommend this company for anything over a single story. Do your homework. read more

As President of a condo association, I contracted Rocky's Roofing to replace 4 roofs in our very large condo village. These 4 buildings, 4 stories, 56 units are 40 years old. Shannon worked with us for a year to help find an affordable solution. He's a true gentleman. The problems we ran into were all caused by the age of the buildings. Rocky's repaired everything that was in his realm of responsibility for free. I've seen a negative review by someone who had self serving reasons to bad mouth Rocky's. High winds caused some oven fires but were extinguished without delay. Any damage was paid for by Rocky's. We even retained them for yearly maintenance. In spite of some problems caused mainly by our buildings, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rocky's for your roofing needs. You won't be disappointed. RDM read more

Great company!! Professionalism from start to finish and we are very pleased with the outcome. Rocky's roofers we're here and worked hard each and everyday and put out quality work. However, shortly after the install was complete, we began to notice what appeared to be a discoloration in our roof tiles. We had weird white streaks and spots popping up all over the tile. We reached out to the manufacturer of our tiles immediately and after speaking with their rep, I felt a tad bit discouraged that anything would be done about it. Imagine paying for a brand new roof and then being told, "it's normal for your roof to look that way! It may disappear in about 6 months!" Who pays for a new roof and then waits 6 months for it to look new? Furthermore, there were new and very similar colored roofs being installed all around us and not one looked as bad as ours looked! I immediately contacted Rocky's (which is what I should've done to begin with because they have always been great!) and was referred to Shannon. Shannon made me feel SO MUCH BETTER! He came out to our home with the vendor and assessed the situation personally. He never made me feel like it was our fault for choosing the tile we chose. He agreed with me that the roof color was not up to par and assured me that we didn't need to worry and that we would be completely happy with the outcome. Shannon worked directly with the manufacturer to make sure the problem was resolved and within a few months, our roof looked the way we thought it should! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! And now neighbors are issuing compliments from all over the neighborhood. I was completely embarrassed about the new roof appearance at first and now I'm very pleased. Recommended by a friend, I had Rocky's repair a leak over my front porch. Shannon came by and gave me a quote that I thought was pricey but I needed the fix. I probably could have found a company that was cheaper but I had a good recommendation from my friend and that means a lot. Quote from a millionaire I used to do business with. "The cheapest way is not always the best way" He sent out a 2 man crew to do the repair. They were only here 2 hours and showed me pictures of what they did. OK they work fast. When the first rain came thru I still had a leak. Shannon came by and took a look and sent out a different 2 man crew and they found the problem and showed me pictures. Wow! We are thrilled with the communication, workmanship and final outcome of our new roof. We were recommended to call Rocky's by dear friends. I'm so thankful I didn't have to rely on google, but I'm here as your neighbor. Shannon came over and walked me through the process and was very thorough. His office staff communicated with me and was patient as I decided on a color. A roof is a long term commitment! Once construction started they pushed right through to the finish. Shannon is the owner of Rocky's Roofing and he runs a great company. We used them for two leaks in the past and they fixed them and we never had another problem with those leaks. Since our roof was 23 years old we felt it was time to change the roof rather than wait for a leak. From start to finish it was a smooth process. They gave us a fair price and did a great job. I love that you can call and get someone right away to answer any question.... and that it's a multi generational family business. Shannon came to our house and explained everything from start to finish. The workers were on time.....put down tarps around whole house and over bushes. Not 1 nail or piece of debris was left behind. Rockys Roofers came to fix my fascia. I asked the owner to look around and tell me what needed to be fixed. He gave an estimate over $1000.I paid it and one week later I saw they missed a veryobvious spt with black showing. I told them I did not mind the oversight, but please charge me accordingly. I had two small leaks in my roof. I called Kendra to schedule, and Shannon (the owner) came out right on time, and was a pleasure to deal with. He assessed my roof and gave me a fair price almost immediately. The communication with Shannon and Kendra was excellent. Quick, easy, and simple! That's what we all love, right? If you do Rocky's is for you. I called and meet with Shannon (great man) we sat down went over the contract, permits, and walked through all the rest of the paper work step by step. I felt comfortable with everything he told me. I asked if we can be a priority because our house insurance needed a new roof to be able to continue insuring us (roof is 30yrs old little patch work). We shook hands I signed the contract within a week The permit was pulled, they begin the demo! ALL IN ONE DAY they had the roof completely demoed, replaced all the rotten wood, laid out the first layer of protection! Two days later the inspector came out and approved/signed off no issues whatsoever! Next day they had their guys here completely shingled the house (straight lines start to finish) and following day got the final inspection, approved/signed off once again no issues! Never write reviews but I truly am left with such a distaste in my mouth after hearing about the experience my parents faced. I would give 0 stars if I could. Shannon seemed nice and my family proceeded with the contracts, permits, etc. However, when the time came to review the invoice, the one we received was done incorrectly and infringed on the contracts signed by all parties. Not a big deal, my father called to clarify the situation and Kendra, not the owner, accountant or anything of relevance, was beyond rude with her response. Instead of explaining the issue, admitting fault to HER mistake (or her system... as she says...), or anything of the sort she decided what was correct was to yell and berate my father saying HE'S the one in the wrong, that he's "too difficult" and as she slams the phone down, she yells she refuses our business even though we had already gone through multiple processes with the actual owner, Shannon. When an email was sent regarding the situation, this person, Kendra, doubled down and said my father was the one being rude and yelling and a bad person. Having listened to all phone calls (yes we have copies...) anyone can tell that my father was just doing his due diligence as an accountant and lawyer by asking BASIC questions and Kendra simply could not answer simple/basic questions. Truly what a shame that this is how this business is run. This situation really shined a light on how terrible their business sense is and their complete lack of professionalism. I would never recommend this business to anyone and I would recommend anyone else who is looking to use this business, to check out ALL of their reviews so you're aware what kind of quality and professionalism you would get-- hint: very low! read more

Rocky's Roofing re-roofed several Condo buildings in Kendall a few years ago. Its been a nightmare ever since. We have experienced constant leaks. First few years, they would come out and patch the leaks, but many were only temporary. Eventually, they stopped responding. We have spent thousands $$$ and continue to make repairs due to the poor workmanship. The matter is now with the Association's attorney. read more

We were very skeptical of finding a good roofing company because of all the horror stories we heard over the years from friends and coworkers that were unsatisfied and disgruntled with the work done by roofing contractors to repair/replace their roof. After several proposals we decided to go with Rocky's Roofing on account of a recommendation from a family member. We are incredibly glad we did. The end price was almost identical to the quote which was fair. Some of the quotes were higher, and some were lower. Rocky's was price was fair in comparison. The only reason the final cost was slightly higher is because I decided to replace all of the facia attached to the screen enclosure on the rear of the house.Taylor and Shannon and the entire Rocky's Roofing Team were great from the onset. In an age where contractors typically are late, or unresponsive, or you have to chase them to do their work and finish up, Rocky's was superb. They committed to a start date, met that date, their crew worked from daybreak to sunset, they met all expectations, and they did so at a good price. We had bidded out our project, received six bids, and Rocky's was one of the lowest prices. What we liked most was the personal touch, the responsiveness of the owner and the foreman during the job, and when there was a small issue I found, they resolved it quickly without issue or dispute, because as their owner said "we want our customers to be satisfied."
