Because she filed my taxes with out all the correct forms she would need to file an amended form and she didn't want to do that. Going from owing the IRS to they owe me close to $2000.00. We would call to get some questions answered and they said they do not take calls through the tax season, really? We had to go and hire an actual CPA, which she is obviously not. Well, it did happen today! For the first time in 14 years living in the Antelope Valley, I've been…read morekicked out of the office and verbally assaulted during my consultation with a nice "I'm not fucking filing your taxes, because there's too much stuff to read!". When I got to my appointment, I prepared everything down to the minimum detail for Mr. Thomas, as instructed by him last year when we first met. He clearly mentioned last year to be very specific about details for my tax return, given the complexity. Last year, he gave me the impression of being a nice and kind person, who was really happy to help. I provided my package to the front desk lady, with the recommendation not to disrupt the order when making copies. When I entered the office, my package was in a mess, and I had to explain where the essential stuff was. I had made all calculations for Mr. Thomas, he just had to plug in the numbers, and I had preserved all related activities and receipts to my 1099s to facilitate any further reading, if required. The individual literally exploded at a certain point with the above words, and kicked me out. It's funny that I was filing for a large income, and this guy just literally said it was too much work. I would have been happy to pay a great fee for his work, but he decided to show me the door instead. Well done Mr. Thomas! I'll put out great words about this place...

State Farm as a company was nice to work with. Doug as an agent was an absolutely unpleasant experience.

Ben was recommended by our realtor and I'm so glad we went with his service. Our experience was…read moregreat because: (1) Ben was there for us and super responsive throughout the process, from showing up to look at multiple houses with us to calling sellers agents to advocate for us to taking care of all the mortgage paperwork and being patient to explain the details to this newbie. And he had all the processes and paperwork set up efficiently and digitally so there weren't any hitches. (2) Being a first-time homebuyer made me feel very vulnerable generally, so I especially appreciated feeling like I could rely on Ben -- that he was honest and capable and would know what to do when and lead us through the process and get things done the right way the first time and for our benefit. (3) Trust was rewarded when everything went well with the loan. We got what other people tell us is a great interest rate and impressively low closing costs, and that despite there being some atypical aspects to our situation. And it all got done in just 18 days from offer to settlement. I'm very pleased and thankful.
