So court date came and went, and my case was thrown out because of bad service. This is my first small claims case, I never received a deposit return from a previous landlord and am now having to figure out the process to get the deposit back. I would have appreciated a little more info on what my next steps would have been after service, since she does this for a living. I would have paid the filing fee to save myself the headache. So even if I knew what to do with them, I don't have them. And on top of it all I'm out another $60 because I was refused a refund, I have to pay ANOTHER process server to do this whole thing again along with the court fees, and I have to take another day off work. Thanks Celina!
