When I asked for his help to fix motor since they did it, he accused me of bringing him a blown motor!! I have witnesses who were with me when I pulled it out, it ran perfect. Then to accuse me of bringing him a blown motor, he is a pyscopath. No customer service. And all I asked him for was some consideration in fixing my motor, not a new motor. 2 years later he is still accusing me of bringing him a blown motor. Good Luck taking your boat there!!!

The entire email response (with numbers redacted) we received from Rick was: "that boat cost me ##K and you think I am going to sell it to you for mid ##'s. This is my last email to you" Nothing else was included in the email. He could have just as easily used it as an opportunity to tell us about other boats in our price range, explain why there is a gap, inquire what boat(s) we have and if we'd be trading them in... so much potential. I have them an extra star to give them the benefit of the doubt that they're having a rough Monday. We won't return or follow up with other boats, though. Life is too short, and too many boats are produced each day, to deal with someone with such a negative outlook toward customers.

From my first inquiry with Captain Josh I knew we would have a great day. Unlike other charter captains I spoke with, he listened to what I was looking for and what I wanted to get out of the day. He gave us that and more! We were on board the "Annah Hunter" which provided a fast quiet ride out to the fishing grounds. Captain Josh's mate, April was incredible. Like I said I've been on several big "Party Boats' and I wouldn't take 2 of their mates for April. She was so attentive to everything going on it was awesome. From removing fish to changing lures to even helping us bait our hooks she was all over it so that we could spend as much time actually fishing as possible. And fishing......Captain Josh had us on the fish constantly. Every place we dropped we caught fish and we caught very few dogs. I can't say enough about the crew they were so attentive to everything that we needed. I would absolutely recommend them highly for a charter and I will unquestionably use them again.

Bought a boat from Larry about 7 years still running all thanks to him and his crew. He had a boat…read morethat he was selling where the owner never disclosed a massive oil leak from the oil pan. We had already agreed to buy the boat and he caught it before we picked up the boat. The owner was not cooperative in fixing the problem and Larry, and his amazing staff (Ginette was an amazing help!) took it upon themselves to remedy the situation and swallowed the cost to fix it. I asked for an extended season and they let me keep my boat in until they needed to pull the docks out. I needed to have my water pump serviced and they squeezed me in and had it done in an afternoon. Great bait tackle and parts shop and they had all the service records for my boat so looking up the correct part for the water pump kit was a breeze. I've been at a few other North shore Marina's over the years and I really love being at Perleys Only downside is it can be tough during peak Greenhead season :-)
