We had a very okay experience with Small farm photography. We had 3 sessions scheduled, a new born,…read more6, and 12 month. Newborn session was okay, but very heavily edited photos. We asked for unedited photos twice and was told we would get them and never did. 6 month session was quick, rushed and we didn't even save or print a single photo from that session. We just didn't like them. 12 month session was scheduled, and I had paid 2/3 of the bill. I didn't want to pay all of it until closer to the 12 month, anyway we had been in contact 3 times with Kailey about our 12 month session, one was two weeks before the session. The day before session I reached out to be sure it was still on, and was told she never bought a cake because I hadn't paid the last bit of money I owed. I then said we literally just talked, why wouldn't you mention that or text me so I could have paid? She scrambled to get it ready, but we ended up canceling it altogether. I feel bad saying this but we just cannot recommend. Better experiences are all over in the area.

We were celebrating our parent's 40th anniversary with these photos and we love what Shelly captured. We had a 13-person family including 8 adults, 1 teenager and 4 kids under the age of 5. Favorite pictures were with 2 young brothers who are very animated and Shelly did a great job capturing their personalities with action shots. She even left my parents home and called back 10 minutes later to return and take additional photos of these two characters that she got an idea for on her way home. We were also very limited on our schedule since two of the families live out of state and getting everyone together is difficult...so we ended up taking the photos on a cloudy day and the pictures were still fantastic! My fiance and I are going to hire Shelly to do our wedding photography in October. Thank you Shelly for our expertise in shooting our family memories!
