After going to two other auto body shops I decided to try out Town and Country in Spangle. From the moment I started talking with them I was impressed. It is run by experienced people who seem to know what they were talking about. They were extremely easy to work with and got the work done faster than we anticipated. And most importantly they did a fantastic job!!! I could not be happier. They provided updates along the way and emailed estimates and receipts. I am very impressed and if I ever need their services again (I hope not) I will go back to them. Yes, they are several miles south of Spokane but they are worth it.

I have had both older (2003) and newer (2016) vehicles at AMG for different services from smaller (oil changes) to bigger (timing belt service, intercooler replacement) and I feel that they're always fair and honest about price. Heck, they once even recommended me to another shop, because they knew that the other shop could do it cheaper. My only complaint about AMG is that they're often scheduling more than a week out because they're pretty busy. But then again, would you really want to take your car to a mechanic who is not busy? They diagnosed the issue and the engine was bad from Jasper. They handled all the paperwork and warranty repair and got the vehicle back to me in a reasonable amount of time. Brought the vehicle back to life and it's a pleasure to drive. We have gone to AMG for other repairs and these guys ROCK!! They are fast, efficient, honest, great pricing and I will definitely continue to take my vehicles there.

On 01-15-24 I needed a tow. AAA advised me that Amity would be coming. There was a misunderstanding between AAA and Amity, which was discovered after a male from Amity called me, so the service was cancelled. (I needed a tow not a jump.) I called AAA back to start another tow. While doing so the male from Amity called. I told him the request was cancelled and it was fine. He was nice. AAA texted me another tow was coming and called to tell me it was Amity again. I thought, perfect, use someone local and support small business. I called the male again just to make sure everyone was on the same page. He assured me that I would be taken care of and apologized for the delay. He went on to say there were three tows before me and that another employee called out today because, "They worked too hard the day before". This should have been the first red flag, talking bad about your employees. I commented, "He's the man", as in getting the job done. He replied that he didn't know about that because, "He doesn't wear the pants in the family. She's in the office". Ouch another red flag. I asked if I needed to call the office to make sure everything was confirmed. He told me no and assured me everything was good. AAA text advised the Amity tow would arrive by 2:05pm. After 3:00pm, I called the office and a woman answered the phone. I told her who I was and wanted to make sure they were still able to get my vehicle before closing. She told me they weren't coming. I was shocked! I questioned her. She told me it was cancelled this morning. I tried to tell her the tow was called again. She proceeded to tell me that she told AAA they couldn't do it because they were too busy. Frustrated and in a hurry I said goodbye and hung up. I immediately received a text from Amity saying, "If you were nicer, I could have tried to help you. Fix your attitude". I tried calling back three times, but she blocked my call. I tried calling the male and he wouldn't answer. I returned a text, "Real nice. Whoever took my call, said you were coming. Shame on you". I will never use your business and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know how horrible you are, including AAA.

They towed us and our pickup to their shop in Cheney, gave us a ride to the hotel, and promised to have our repair completed first thing on Tuesday. They replaced the alternator at the expected cost, picked us up at the hotel, and we were on the road again before noon. We were very impressed with their customer service, feeling they went above and beyond to help us get home.

In February 2025 I brought my 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD to Mechanics Pride South Hill because it…read morewas not running right. It had a rough idle, surging and was dying. They called me and told me that it had low compression on cylinder 1 and was going to need a new engine as well as many other repairs it needed. After quoting me a very high price, I declined and proceeded to pick up my truck later that day. When I went to pick up my truck, they again stated it would need a new engine, but when I asked what caused the low compression they stated that they did not know why. After taking matters into my own hands, I found amazing and consistent compression on all 8 cylinders of my engine and a faulty EGR valve that was causing all my problems. After replacing the EGR valve the truck ran flawlessly and hasn't had that problem since. I am so glad I didn't fall for a new engine! I would recommend staying away from Mechanics Pride as clearly they have no clue what they are doing. Thanks for nothing!

We took my Toyota 4Runner into J&M after someone failed to navigate a turn in the snow and wiped…read moreout the driver's side of my car. Jay stands behind this repair and stated he did a great job. He is unwilling to admit or accept responsibility for my vehicle now being two tone. When the sun is out my car appears to be goldish on the driver's side and is a silver metallic on the rest of the vehicle. He first stated that he removed my fender and sent it to a paint specialist to be matched. Later he stated that there were 8 options for my paint code for which, in my opinion, he clearly chose the wrong one. In addition to the run down the driver's door and lack clear coat on the fender jam he billed my insurance for things including the blending of the hood. You can clearly see from the pictures that no blending was done. I am attaching pictures of some of his work. The final picture is from the prior year when the passenger side was painted in Long Beach, WA and they matched the color perfectly. Jay was a pleasant man to work with until there was a problem. He failed to repair part of the damage and told me it was not from the accident but from me removing fender flares. However I still have the original receipt from the purchase of this vehicle from the factory and at no time has it ever had fender flares. Even his own invoice states this. At this point it is going to cost me thousands to fix his mistake. This has been extremely disappointing to say the very least.
