I've had 2 birthday parties here and 2 different experiences,…read more The naturalist that led the first birthday party was kind of rude and you could tell she wasn't into it. The activities were not age appropriate and I wasn't happy with the way she handled things. My son wanted his party here again and I had my doubts, I was worried it was going to be another bad experience. I showed up the day of the party to talk to the naturalist that was going to lead the party (thinking it was going to be the same cranky women) and after talking to a young girl named Cara/Kara(Moth) I was quickly relieved. She did a wonderful job! She made magical binoculars with the kids to bring on their hike. We walked down to the brook and looked under rocks. On our adventure we found bugs, spotted a butterfly and more! We went to the playground after and she ran around playing tag with the kids. I can't tell you how impressed I was! This was one of the best birthday parties we've had, we will be back again! Thank you Moth!

I'm writing this review to warn anyone and everyone about his lack of integrity and unsatisfactory work. DO NOT hire him to do any services because he will collect payment, then he will not back up his work and disappear.

The first time we went we had lawn seats and we had so much fun, everyone was so friendly and we had the awesome Adirondack chairs to sit in. The only drawback to the lawn seats is the sun, it got pretty brutal. This time we had tickets for seats and it wasn't as fun, but we were in the shade. All the concessions and very expensive. Pizza 9.25 a slice (and it wasn't especially good), the beer was very expensive so my husband only got one and bottles of water were very expensive. I would recommend eating somewhere near the park before you go in, there's plenty of great spots around there.

I went to high school here and walked past Elm Park every day on the way to Dougherty high. I have fond memories of looking out at the water from both bridges. The first one is the most sentimental for me. I took pictures there after my high school graduation. I had many walks here with friends and family, and this park will always be sentimental to me. In the winter, I used to go ice-skating here. There were no rules or regulations, you just brought your skates and skated at your own risk. In the summer, I would take leisurely walks around the park and stop ar a bench and read a book for a while. I was here today for a visit and walked the park I had a joyous moment on each of the bridges. It's fun to relive your childhood. If only I knew then, what I know now.
