USE CONSTANT CONTACT INSTEAD. I did split off to my own personal account but was unfortunate enough to not have the foresight that I would not be with a company forever. After my email account was shut down, Mailchimp demanded verification through that dead email and Mailchimp Support Would Not Budge, nor help me gain access to my account. I have the correct username and password and they refuse to help! I maintained my email list in that account, and I have no other copy. My email campaigning is Ruined! UNACCEPTABLE!!! I started receiving spam through mailchimp.com. I never contacted this company for any reason. I never consented to receiving any spam let alone doing business with this company. One is not able to contact to ask them to stop unless you are FORCED to CONSENT to having them installing cookies on your computer, laptop, phone, or whatever. I am not consenting to anything, however, I want them to delete all of my information, leaving me alone, and never contacting me again. I resent the fact that they forged my name and email address to do business under and with my name and personal information. Mailchimp has to prove that I contacted them or provide me with the information as to how they got my information. read more

In response to my written request for ASSISTANCE - Uploading leads got botched by their software doubling the leads and thereby hiking my bill - no resolution was offered. None. THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS. Repeated attempts to CANCEL my account FAILED. After providing WRITTEN REQUEST TO CANCEL THE ACCOUNT, see the rude snarky response below made by RANDY: "As you are not willing to close the account on your end and refuse to troubleshoot we have an alternative... BUYER BEWARE! This is the holding company for Mailchimp. There is no customer service-- period. Their integration with Shopify was terminated and there was nobody to call or email to cancel the account. Our company was just charged for another month and we are now going to be forced to file a credit card dispute. read more

Moreover, they advertise one price for the upgrades, and then when you click on them to make the move, the price changes to three times the original quote. Total bait and switch tactic. These guys are the people behind www.mailchimp.com. This is the best of the half dozen or so companies we tried. Not expensive, and they make doing your newsletter fun. An irreverent, yelpish attitude helps as well. If you are a yelping business owner and do any email list management or marketing, treat yourself to a banana and use these folks. These people are behind mailchimp and list-manage.com. Use by companies like Locast.org to spam you like crazy once they get your email. They IGNORE requests to be removed from ALL lists, and share you with a TON of companies. AVOID Locast.org and other companies that use these spammers. read more

I thought I loved Mail Chimp until you have tech trouble and they wont allow you to contact them or email them or call them or anything them. A company of this size should offer phone or chat support. I pay monthly for this service and the reset password function isn't working. As a result, there is no one to speak to in order to determine if the problem is on my end or Mail Chimp's end. This company offers services which do not work as advertised, and then offer substandard customer service when there is a problem. There are other services available for a much more affordable, fair price for the product/service you receive in return. I too think I will design a nice website, wait for the money to roll in, and never offer customer service to retain those paying customers. I imagine if I look up the address on google street view I'll see a millennial in his parent's garage. This is the worst customer service and company policies is based on extortion and fraud. I had a $10 plan to test it, never send one email and was charged $165 on my credit card without my knowledge. There is no way to speak to anyone, and emails to billings are ignored. I now have to dispute the amount and cancel my credit card. BE WARNED read more

MailChimp is HORRIBLE!! I've been having trouble with the same problem/glitch for the last 4 months: the URL does not update with the campaign. These are the ticket #s: 4903133, 4915056, 5039918, 5040101, 5105347, 5127867, 5131562, 5132972, 5105347 and the problem is still not resolved..... The problem is my December newsletter issue URL keeps showing as the October newsletter issue. I have spent well over 30 hrs+ just on the chat alone and no fix!! So Annoyed and we are moving our paid account to constant contact... Wish there was -5 stars... read more

I don't know where you guys get your information but my experience with Mail Chimp is totally unsatisfactory. They have only "chat" and email support. Their system is complicated and cumbersome. They suspended my account for so called "abuse" and when they found no cause, were very slow in responding. My account has been blocked for a week even though I got an email saying that the issue had been resolved and my account is now unblocked. It is still blocked. Chat is a joke. My experience with this company is nothing short of incredibly frustrating. Mail Chimp has wasted a lot of my time. read more
