I am of the school of thought that if you pay a premium to bring your car to a dealership, you should be getting top-notch service and a great experience. Landers McLarty's is a perfect example of how it SHOULD be done. It was a relief to me to receive such an excellent experience and customer service when I had my car worked on here. My service rep John was friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. He and his team pinpointed the problems right away and gave me a price range of repair options available to me. They found trouble spots that another shop had completely overlooked (just that same week!). Nissan was thorough, unlike the other shop who charged me $1k for a problem that didn't even get resolved. Had I gone to Nissan first, it would have been done once and it would have been done thoroughly and correctly. I appreciate that kind of integrity and craftsmanship. My 15 yr old car now drives like it's almost new again. They even provided me a complimentary Lyft ride home while my car was being worked on. John provided timely updates, and provided cost estimates for each of the repairs before performing them. There are some repairs I chose to do elsewhere, where it was more cost-effective for me, and John did not try to upsell me or convince to do me otherwise. People complain that dealerships cost more for service. That depends, how many times do you want to have your "repair" fixed? What is that time and inconvenience worth to you? Are repairs expensive? Yes. It's like going to the doctor for your car. If you want a healthy car, it costs money, that's a fact of life. The important thing is that you get what you pay for. After agreeing to a price on the new vehicle the salesman told me since I beat him up over the price my interest rate would be 7.9%. I have almost a 800 credit score. I eventually negotiated the competitive rate based on my credit rating. The finance manager was just rude and angry that we got a fair deal. We love the car but would never do business with this dealership again. We have a two year free service agreement but based on the other review there service department I will just pay for my oil changes. Purchasing a new vehicle is a high expense for families and if this dealership does not see there's reviews and recognize something needs to change than the should not wonder why they have a failing business. Business are run by people, culture and customer experience is driven by leadership. The are plenty on Nissan dealers out there save yourself the frustration and go else where.

Certainly as good as the place across the road from them. Needs improvement: There system tried to rip my liscense plate off my car and left it bent up. In my case, the plate is only held by bolts at the top. Had it been bolted on all 4 corners that probably would not have happened but my car does not have that option. Of note is that I have used the place across the road three or four times now and this never has happened there. When I pointed this out to TY he was genuinely concerned about it, which I appreciate. Seems I was the 2 car this had happened to there so he said he would immediately point this out to management so they could take measures to prevent it.

When I asked for ONE singular WASH, the girl tried signing me up for a subscription. I told her I did not want a subscription and she said she's not "putting me on any subscription" but rather "they just need to have my card on file and license plate" to serve me. So I went with it and believed I was purchasing a single wash. One month later, I was hit with a $40 charge on my card for their subscription. Without consent they will sign you up for a subscription. I called 2 times to try and get it resolved and every time they said "they'll look into it." I then drove 3.5hrs to Huntsville just to ask in person about getting it resolved. One of the OWNERS said "well look into it" and nothing has happened. No refunds or anything. It's all lip service. If you do not want a subscription, do not go to Tommy's. They're only looking for repeat customers through a subscription program and don't honor single washes. There's 20 other washes in the area who will happily honor a one time wash, not force a subscription.
