Rocket Carwash - Soooooo dirty - Car Wash Near Me - Weatherford, Texas

Left Home Depot and decided to get Genesis washed. Pulled in. Young man helped me. Trying to sell memberships. No problem. No thanks. Got "Mid" level $19.95 drive thru wash. Went thru. Seemed quicker than others. Exited and drove 11 miles home to Willow Park. Got out and immediately noticed crud all over door. Basically nothing was cleaned by this place. Didn't check reviews beforehand. Wish I had. This place sucks. read more

Don't bother... avoid this place. Over priced, $13.99 for the cheapest wash and it doesn't do your wheels or underside. Did not even clean the "dust" off most of my hood, back tailgate, and rear side windows. No drying towels are available outside. read more

I took my truck there because it was dirty. Bugs on the windshield dirt on the windshield and truck. I mean why else would you go to a car wash. Going in my truck had no cracks or chips or damage of any kind in the windshield. During the wash my windshield cracked on the lower driver side. I pulled around and went inside to get an employee. They took pictures of the crack and the scratches in my paint and opened a claims. The claims department looked at the video of my truck entering and circled bugs and dirt and said it was already damaged. Denied my claim because as they said its impossible for their equipment to damage a vehicle as its maintained to such high standards. The interesting thing is, nothing they circled in their inspection was even close to where my damage was. I asked for them to compare the before and after of my truck entering and leaving so they could see what they claimed was damage before actually washed off, but they refused because again the bugs and dirt was proof it was already damaged in their eyes. I went back and tried to speak with a manager on site and they refuse to call back or do anything to help either. So, save yourself some trouble and grab a hose at home, it would do a better job than rocket wash anyways. read more

Went in for $13.99 carwash on March 24. Don't know this employee's name, Employee 994382. This guy was horrible... he tried to bully/badger us into buying a membership. We (both my husband and I) told him 3 times "no thank you". Can we just get the $13.99 single wash. He responded that if we couldn't be nice, he didn't have to allow us to use the carwash! He wanted an explanation from both of us on WHY we didn't want the membership. This business truly needs to rethink their training/customer service for their employees. You are losing customers because of rude, harassing employees with unacceptable behavior. Why would ANYONE try this place?! read more

Last straw with this place. The kid selling memberships made me literally back out of the place. I told you what I wanted and you wouldn't take my Money. Over and over and over with your Bs. IF YOU LIKE BEING RELENTLESSLY SALES PITCHED THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU I HAD a membership and your scanner never picked up my plate and it was a fight EVERY TIME. Your stupid relentless sales bs will have me never come back. It's Texas.... Car washes are As plentiful as donuts.... read more

Went there today told the young man I wanted the 1399 car wash. He told me he had to read this card and go over all the specials which I let him do when he was done I said thank you but I only want the 1399 wash. He continue to harass me and asked me personal questions as to how often am I in Weatherford and so on. I again told him I wanted the 1399 wash and tried to hand my credit card for processing. He refused to take my credit card at this point. I rolled up my window and left. I asked to speak with the manager Female came out and was no help basically took his side and told him that he has to read over that I said he went way beyond that to the point of harassing now instead of getting 1399 for a wash you lost a customer forever. read more

This place is just awful. I took a brand new pickup through today and it dented and scratched the hood--I've been trying to call them all day and there's no customer service. The wash quality is TERRIBLE! I spent 30 minutes wiping off dust it missed. I'm surprised this place hasn't tanked yet. read more

Tall kid with mullet was very nice! Wash was high quality, and i enjoyed the free detailing products!

Went there on august 4th around 8:30 they had a whole 30 more minutes before closing but rejected washing cars. My friend and me who got stuck in mud earlier that day was wanting to get it cleaned. Imagine the BAD day my friend was having and they rejected her. So she drove another 6 minutes and got it cleaned and was able to drive all the way back before they even CLOSED. It was two guys working that were teens. One that has a buzz but looked very bald with glasses and the other was a slightly handsome boy so it was hard to be mad. But they refused to help. Then they turned off the vacuums when we went to use it. HORRIBLE SERVICE DO NOT GO THERE IF YOUR CAR IS DIRTY THEY DO NOT HELP!!! read more

Should be negative stars option! This was the most unreal experience. Had an emergency need for Carwash in area not usually in. But turned into a nightmare, they ARGUED at length with us on why we wouldn't become members. After 10 minutes , finally convince just needed the one wash. And then that was absolutely the worst ever, didn't take off any dirt whatsoever anywhere on vehicle. What in the world is this place?!!! Never never again. read more

First off.. lose the sales pitch.. I just want a car wash, it's no one's business " what's holding me back" from a dumb subscription. Plus, the vacuum's either don't work or hardly work at all and make my car smell like a wet dog. Never again. read more

I understand that during holidays people must upsell but this was beyond that. I simply wanted a car wash. A one time deal. Ronnie persisted on pushing for membership programs. I had to tell him 4 times I simply wanted a 1x wash. His statement was I had to do my job even when I calmly explained to him I just wanted a 1x car wash. Needless to say , I rolled up my window and backed out of their drive. I'm a professional salesperson in Corporate America. There's a point where you stop before you lose a sale. I guess the Manager there forgot to explain that to Ronnie. Good luck. I'll never go there again. read more

I wouldn't recommend this wash to anyone . The young man who ran my card was told no to a membership but he continued to push it and was told no on three occasions and then proceeded to insult me on my choice. No means no ! Then he was argumentative until I lost my patience with him . I'll never give them any business again . read more

I fully support the other reviews around the level of harassment that goes beyond sales at this car wash. After I told the guy over 10 times just one wash he told me I was being rude that I didn't let him finish what he's required to say. all I wanted was one car wash that was $25 and he literally harassed me to the point where I just turned the car around and left. I will never ever go back to this place and highly recommend others to avoid it, there are plenty of car washes in the area that will get my business read more

This location is in Weatherford and has a kid that is very argumentative and want let you buy a single car wash instead of a membership. The owner of this franchise knows this is going on from all the posted complaints and does nothing about it. This place will probably go out of business down the road unless changes are made immediately. read more

Never coming here again. I just wanted a car wash and instead I have to get off my business call and tell the sales dude 13 times no thank you on a membership. read more

ok it was all good but 1 they be doing the ABSOULUTE MOST! like they made us sign waivers and give us our phone numbers it took 5 minutes . DO NOT EVER go to Rocket Carwash in Weatherford!! We went to get one car wash for 20$! After we told him we only wanted the one wash he asked us why we weren't members. After we politely said we just want one wash he continued to talk over us asking and demanding to know why we wouldn't take advantage of a membership deal. We repeated once again we just wanted one wash for 20$ even tried to give him the card. The worker would NOT take the payment and kept asking us why we would not sign up for a membership. This went on for a good 10 minutes. He then asked us where we were from and if we passed through here frequently why we wouldn't sign up for the membership! Y'all I can't make this up!! Ronnie was super rude and I don't know how after reading other reviews he is still there!!! I only gave it one star bc you have to read more

Update: windshield wiper replacement was reimbursed. Manager was very cooperative. Current issue is my credit card has 3 charges on it when my account at local carwash only shows 1 charge. (My rear window windshield wiper was broken completely off, finding 2 of 4 pieces, and found paint scraped off my car where it pulled the plastic body panels apart. Local manager says they added a sign at the entrance of the "tunnel" stating they are not responsible for any damage... but that is not in the written contract I signed. The regional manager has reached out to me finally -- offered to pay for repairs. ) read more

Zero stars. We ended up leaving because the young man was trying to sell us a membership. I said no thank you four times and explained I only want one car wash thank you. We live nowhere near this car wash. It made no sense for us to get one. But this young man was persistent and rude. We ended up leaving And now never will come back. read more

I have NEVER left before I had my car washed at a location, but the guy was relentlessly trying to sell me a membership for something I did not want. I told him more than four times that I do not live in the area and please just let me purchase my car wash, but he would not stop. He even offered to put a reminder on my phone to cancel my membership before the month was out so that I only had to pay nine dollars instead of the $18 for the wash. I tried repeatedly to tell him that I do not live near there, and I did not need another membership, but he would not quit. I don't know if they are getting commission on selling memberships, but no means no. I will never return to this location... Ever! So rude and obnoxious. read more

My interactions have been aggressive upselling by employees. I said no to monthly contract three times and the guy kept hard selling me, when I finally said your going to keep pushing even after I have said no three times his response was yes its our job. I really liked the service here from the front. The membership trial price was swell. Jamie was super patient and helpful today!

If you want to sit there and argue with someone for 10 minutes and them be a smart ass, practically calling you dumb for not getting the membership go to rocket car wash. The only thing this place has to offer is the free vacuums. read more

I have been a member for over a year with 5 vehicles. My expedition was damaged two times and they would not reimburse me for the 2nd damage. The owner hides behind a keyboard and there is no way to get a hold of them on the phone. I just cancelled all 5 memberships and I will make sure everybody I know stays away from that car wash. read more

Inappropriate sales people. The guy was RELENTLESS in trying to sell us a membership, talked over my husband and insinuated we were dumb for not subscribing. You can only say no politely so many times ‍ Finally had to back out and leave without a wash it was so awful. Terrible business. There are much cheaper places with more respectful employees and a better service! read more

they make it impossible to cancel subscription. I am trying to cancel because of the poor cleaning quality as shown in other reviews.

Terrible place. Was asked to get a membership and refused cause didn't care for it and the guy refused to charge my card and would not stop asking why I don't want a membership. We went back and forth for mins because I grabbed my card out of his hand and back out as he laughed and motioned with his hand. read more

Honestly it's ok. The car wash is fine. But legit the people taking your money are the pushiest people trying to sell you the membership. If I say it once I don't want it. Stop offering it. Will not be coming back purely due to the staff being to pushy. read more

Buyers Beware!!! My dad who came to visit me from out of town, used their services once while in town. He was offered their membership services when he pulled up but declined telling them he's from out of town and just needed a single wash. My dad was tricked into thinking he was signing a credit card slip that turned out to be a membership!!! My dad was unknowingly being charged for nine months until it was finally caught. The manager refused to take any accountability for what was done and took a week to respond back to me. He claimed to have cancelled my membership only to have it billed AGAIN the following month!!! This business makes it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel their memberships. Be prepared to be on hold for an hour due the establishment always being short staffed. I don't know how they have stayed in business for this long! Their basic lack of customer service is appalling! I would also be careful when using their car vacuums because there are bees flying all around their trash cans. There are far better car washes in Weatherford that service way better than this place! I'd give it zero stars if I could. read more

Rocket Car wash receives constant complaints in our local Weatherford forum. It's closer to my house than others, so I've occasionally gone and put up with the subpar wash versus driving into town. They actually sold me a wash yesterday with their passenger side brushes completely removed, so I got a half wash for $26. This owner is an actual idiot and should sell the car wash to someone with ethics. read more

Poor cancellation service and bad customer service over phone: They do not cancel service at the place you buy car wash and asked to call at number where you could be on hold over 15 minutes sometimes and also to call 7 days in advance of billing date to cancel for avoiding charged @$40 per month. Staff at car wash is nice though at calling it's rude and horrible. Do not go to this car wash!! read more

The high pressure sales pitch is beyond ridiculous but today crossed the line into rude. When I listened politely then said no that should have been enough...it wasn't. Repeatedly said "no, thank you. I only want the single wash" and was ignored as he kept talking. The topper was when I finally said enough let me pay for one wash or let me out of line and I won't buy anything. He proceeded to "explain" to me how money works and I would save money if I would just listen!! Needless to say I didn't purchase a single wash much less a membership. No less than ten times I declined he still kept up the sales pitch. Not only lost myself as a customer today but the rest of my family as well. Seems like a customer paying full price for a single wash is better than no customer at all. read more
