I've been a member for just over a month, and I've noticed significant improvements in my weightlifting, especially considering my previous college experience. The environment at Bloc Fitness, particularly the group classes, is fantastic. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable, and I've never been to another gym where form is the top priority. While the monthly fee of $170 may seem steep, it includes unlimited classes and a programmed fitness cycle. All you have to do is show up and work out, and the system tracks your progress, eliminating any guesswork about where to begin. In my opinion, Bloc Fitness is one of the best investments I've made in myself so far.

I have been to many gyms in my years and a couple things really stuck out about Fit Farm: 1) The friendliest trainers I have met! Will definitely return whenever Im in Omaha and would recommend to anyone looking for a great crossfit gym and workout

My sister had joined Hotworx shortly after Krystle did and I had been meaning to try a free class with them for some time. After setting up my initial free class with Haley the three of us managed to finally take one of these virtual sauna classes together. It was super fun and I was absolutely down to supplement my powerlifting workouts with these quick and intense workouts in the saunas. It's been a little over a month since I joined and I have loved being able to sign up for classes at any time of the day in a 24 hour period, being in the sauna by myself or the max of 3 people. It has been the perfect self care regimen I've needed since the weirdness of the pandemic and the world getting to a new norm. I know I'll keep coming back to this location to workout with my sister and Krystle as well as one that's opening up near where I live. Thank you Hotworx midtown for helping me realize what my mind and body need to be the warrior woman I am!

I am a large person (350+ lbs) and usually I feel really nervous about any kind of group fitness class since I'm usually the biggest person in the room - I had such a positive experience here! The studio was clean, the class was very fun and had great vibes, and it was a good workout. The other class members were friendly and the time flew by. If I ever wanted to do spin more frequently, I would definitely make this my go-to spot!

What keeps me coming back isn't just the workouts--it's the community. I'm naturally pretty shy and not usually the person who starts conversations, but several of the instructors have gone out of their way to get to know me, welcome me, and introduce me to other members. That kind of effort makes a huge difference and creates such an inclusive atmosphere. I also love that most rides have a theme. Whether it's a throwback playlist, artist spotlight, or genre-specific ride, it keeps things fun and makes the workouts fly by. If you're looking for a welcoming, judgment-free environment and a genuinely fun way to move your body, I highly recommend checking out Movement. The workouts are great, but the people are what make this place special.

It's a community . . . a family, if you don't mind me getting a little cheesy about it. The heart and soul of the place is Travis, the owner, but the other coaches are all fantastic, too. Crossfit, in general, might get a bit of a bad or even cultish rep, but that's not how it is here. The workouts ARE hard, but the vibe is 1,000% supportive and encouraging. There are ALL levels of fitness here, from Spartan racer, elite athlete types to the over 50, "what the hell happened to my body?!" types (I fall comfortably into the latter category). Scaling of the workouts is always encouraged to tailor the work you your specific level of fitness and the variety of workouts ensures that it is NEVER, ever, ever boring. Bottom line: If you're looking for a home and a place to start, restart, continue, or supplement your fitness journey, you simply can't go wrong here. You won't find better people or a better environment anywhere.

Just in case you haven't had the opportunity to try it yet be sure to always stay hydrated and had enough food to eat prior to your workouts and throughout the week. I learned this the hard way. Also, if you do try it be sure to keep the temp around 125 when you first start out and of course go easy on yourself, your body needs to get acclimated to the heat and working out in it. Take your time and feel the warrior within emerge! What I love about this location at Shadow Lake is how large it is compared to the one I've been to at Midtown. There are a pretty decent amount of saunas with dedicated saunas for certain 30 minute workouts which make it nice when scheduling them. I also like that the FX zone is a pretty expansive area as well which include battle ropes too! I just stopped by this morning for a Hot Blast workout and saw that the vending machine and filtered water dispenser were recently installed! Nice!! What's also really great is you can purchase protein bars, drinks, liquid IV powders, energy powders, workout bands and gloves right from the vending machine if you attend during non-staffed hours. They give you a code to pop in when you'd like to go at a different time and they have special necklaces with buttons you press if you happen to need help and no one's there. I also love the manager Brian here, he's super friendly and helped me set up my new membership when they were offering founding memberships.
