He was professional and attentive, showing us how to use the radio system and taking pictures of our group on request. The itinerary was clearly given to Red…read moreCarpet Limo: Omni Hotel to Allegheny Courthouse (.1 mile); Allegheny Courthouse to Omni (.1 mile) for quick lunch, the driver was welcome to join the wedding party & family; a 3 hour round trip to the groom's mother in a nursing home to include her in his special day; and finally the Omni to the Art Room (1.1 miles). The groom's mother unexpectedly passed away in 02/25 resulting in the round trip no longer needed. The reservation was cancelled on 02/28/25. Yes, I signed a contract the deposit was non-refundable. Due to the circumstances, I inquired if they would consider refunding the deposit or even a partial refund. I was told because the reservation was booked 11/27/24, they wouldn't do a refund as they had turned away reservations for the 14 passenger bus. I told her we weren't going with another company, the groom's mother unexpectedly passed away and there was 3 months before our reservation date to rent it. She told me, I didn't know if they would be able to rent the bus and there would be no refund and hung up on me. I immediately called back 3 times and was put on hold twice by the same person, she was playing the how long will she stay on hold game and then sent directly to voice mail. My issue is not that they wouldn't issue a refund, my issue is the LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM shown by HANGING UP ON ME and then refusing to take my call.

The weather was cold and rainy, so I appreciated that the grounds had a covered pavilion with many benches and some tables. They had space for four rib vendors and for many other vendors who sold products such as beverages and honey. Admission cost $5 per person, and parking cost $5 per car. Musicians and singers did live performances on a stage. The public turnout was not large, so lines of customers were short. I enjoyed the BBQ ribs and the live music. Employees were courteous. In the future, I might return here to see their farm show, which I hear features events such as a tractor-handling contest, livestock competitions, produce and wine, and arts and crafts.

Walking in it felt warm and inviting while also looking fancy…read more When we arrived, we first drove past the entrance because we weren't sure if it was the correct address, plus there was a van pulling out, blocking any cars from getting in. We were a little early for check-in and everyone was so welcoming while we waited. We stayed in a standard queen bed room, which had a fireplace and large closet and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. We were there for a wedding and the venue coordinator, Zach, did a great job with making sure everything was set up. There was another party going on the evening we stayed the night and you could hear it clearly from our room. Thin walls and floors is the downside of staying in a historical building.

I stayed in one of the king bed rooms the night before a wedding and it was a wonderful experience. The room got a little cold at night, so we decided to sleep with the fireplace on. The fireplace in the hotel room was a nice, cozy touch. If you are handicapped, or have trouble with stairs, definitely let the hotel staff know. There is one elevator in the building that only goes to level 2. The venue coordinator for the wedding was also fantastic to work with!
