If 0 stars were an option that's what I would have selected. These guys finished our garage many years ago and we've loved the coating ever since, and I've recommended them to many people based on that experience.
When it came time to select a coating for our new fermentation cellar at our brewery I naturally went back to them for our floor coating. Sadly this experience has been horrific.
First problem came from when they sealed the rubber cooler door sweep to the coating. It tore the sweep off after we were able to use the floor for the first time. I sent them a picture but didn't pursue any recourse since it only cost me $20 to get a replacement rubber sweep.
But then after a month or so the cove base they attached to our wall began to delaminate. I contacted them and was told they'd be out by the end of the following week to take care of it. That time came and went and after a week I called them back. No answer so I left a message. Finally after several weeks of no response I called expecting to have to leave another message but actually reached our "sales" guy. The ensuing conversation was the most rude, condescending and foul language diatribe I have ever experienced in my life. Let me be perfectly honest and state now that after he began cursing me extensively I joined right in, so that was my bad in lowering myself to his level.
First of all he said they'd used a water based adhesive to attach the cove base to the frp walls. When questioned about that he said we never told him it was a wet area. Seriously?! It's a brewery and the floor is sloped to a 24' long trench drain. Perhaps he thought that was for dust collection.
Then he proceeded to say they can't attach to frp. I asked him why they didn't say anything when they came to do the installation and he said how were his guys supposed to know? Again, seriously? I was there and they could've informed me of the issue, and I could have removed the lower frp to a line just about the cove base. And if the installers don't know perhaps they should be trained as to what's acceptable.
Then he said he told me no frp. False, he sent emails with pictures of installation examples showing an install where the frp ended above the cove, but with no text explaining it was a requirement in any way. And in an email he told me "walls first and then cove base".
At any rate I'm now left with finding my own solution to the problem. He finally came to check it out but when our brewer pointed out the same obvious points he got pissed off and walked out.
Under no circumstances would I ever recommend this company to anyone ever again, for any application. That is unless you enjoy a potentially inferior product and installation, and working with the worst possible customer service ever!!! read more
