Beware! I found this guy on Craigslist, my first mistake...never again! Also goes by Nexus PC…read moreDesign, Gods of Gaming, The Computer Nexus. Told me he would build my website (which was very simple) in 3 days for $500.00, half up front, half when completed. He told me he would get a design together based on what I told him, then tweak it to my liking and transfer it from my current hosting company to Network Solutions, whom I had just purchased a hosting package with. My website was up and running already, I was just needing it to be updated and transferred to a new hosting site. Josh (whom I believe is the only employee with the company) assured me he would have the new site transferred, and up and running within 3 days...told me the site was so easy it would be a piece of cake. I paid him the $250 up front and within 2 days, he sent me a template of something he had designed. The template did not include half of the items we had agreed on, and was very quirky, flash did not run correctly, and the colors were way off of what I had asked for. I sent him emails outlining what we had originally agreed on, and what the templates were missing. He then gave me excuses about his kids being ill, then he was falsely arrested and spent some time in jail, etc. The excuses just kept on coming. I have dozens of emails verifying everything here as truth, so before you go with this company, contact me....I can share them with you. The last straw was when Josh told me his kids were going hungry because he didn't have the money to feed them, and asked if I could give him the final payment, and he assured me he would have all the changes made within a couple of days. I felt sorry for him (my 2nd mistake), and I wired him the final payment. Meanwhile, my site was taken down from my current hosting site, but Josh never transferred it to Network Solutions. Therefore, I was left with no website at all, and no way to get my old site back up. I quickly changed my passwords with Network Solutions because after this transpired, I read a review from someone else with a eerily similar experience that said he stole their domain name. You can read that review at the following link: http://www.scambook.com/company/reports/45147/NPC-Designs-Web-Designs-JStephens , Also, find his mug shot at this address: http://www.bustedmugshots.com/georgia/winder/joshua-brandon-stephens/33854962. On top of that, he told me he was in Snellville, then I find out he is in Lawrenceville. This guy and his company are as crooked as a dog's hind leg. Not worth it for me to take him to court, so my only repercussion is to make sure he can not do this to anyone else. Just say no to this guy and his company! Scam artist in it's purist form.

Giant Postcards is truly the worst advertising company I've ever worked with in my 20 years of…read moreexperience. I manage a small neighborhood gym in Chicago IL and have worked with multiple companies over the years doing direct mail pieces. Originally they told us they would partner us up with a neighboring business to save us money but once we committed to do a 10, 000 piece New Year's Special mailing they then said that we would have to find the neighboring business ourselves. We ended up doing the single user card at a much higher price. So a little bait and switch to start. Scott- the VP of Operations- assured us that our mailer would arrive in our customers homes no later than Jan 3rd. Several days later Scott then said it would be Jan 7th as we weren't part of their national customer- Anytime Fitness I believe- even though we had never claimed to be I and several employees live in the neighborhood and so we had first hand experience of the postcards' arrival date. None were on time and some were as late as the 21st. Two weeks past the date they told us. This worried us so we started an internal audit of our members to see if they had gotten their postcards late as well. We quickly discovered that over 70% had never even received them in the first place. We had paid them thousands of dollars to get our advertisement to our customers and they had failed. I contacted Scott at Giant Postcards told him what we had discovered and was promised that he would "get to the bottom of this." After multiple requests via e-mail and by phone to get more information on what happened and more importantly how would they fix this problem I was finally told by Scott-" I'm sorry that this happened. I've only had something like this happen a handful of times. There's nothing we can do about it. Our job is to deliver the mailer to the post office. And we have done what we were contractually obligated to do. We may never know what happened to your postcards- I'm sorry to lose you as a customer- I was hoping to have you as a customer for a long time. We will not be issuing you a refund or doing another mailer. I've spoken with the owners- Kyle and Brennan- and this is our position." . Not an apology for poor service- but he's sorry that Giant Postcard won't be getting any more money from us. I was just flabbergasted. Mind you I had not even brought up either a refund or another mailing- I had asked for the problem to be fixed and for the mailers we had paid for to get to our customers. When I continued to press him on this Scott said "good day" and hung up on me. From their website- "We won't just meet your advertising expectations, we will exceed them. With Giant Postcards, your message will not be overlooked like with common coupon magazines, newspaper inserts or shared advertising envelopes. Our Giant Postcards are so large; they are usually wrapped around all the other mail in the mailbox!" In this case our expectations were not even remotely met much less exceeded. Their Giant Postcards couldn't be overlooked because they couldn't even make sure that they got to the customers in the first place. I sincerely hope that anyone who ever considers working with this company take fair warning. They do not stand behind their product or their process. They will take your money and your postcards will never even get to your customer. Giant Postcards is a company run by small men. Kyle, Brennan, and Scott- I hope that the money you made off of us was worth it.
