We purchased what was supposed to be a new 1812-081 Door King gate controller. The unit we were…read moresold is rusted and was clearly used. We took numerous photos of the unit, the wire clippings, loose screws, scratches, and rust. We took photos of the white cardboard box showing the part numbers and serial numbers which DON'T match the part numbers and serial numbers on the unit. The unit we received is a completely different model number than the one we ordered and paid for. Since we have both serial numbers, it would be so simple for this company to track down who had the used unit and who received the new unit that was supposed to be in our box. I called this company and spoke to a lady who took my information but no one returned my calls. I contacted them via email and the representative refuses to exchange the unit and refuses to allow it to be returned for a refund. This is a scam outfit. Do not trust them. Do not buy anything from them. Now we lost our money and have to buy it from someone else. We filed a dispute with our credit card and plan to file a police report.
