The people who work here are super nice but dang it's $$$$$ . Too pricey for us. It's a great facility if you can afford it

I was hopeful that they would help me with the arm pain I have. They did not help. All I ended up with was a bill and the same problem.

I started a membership…read moreand was there for only 2 months before they let some stranger without a membership into the gym who physically broke into my locker, stole my wallet, and immediately went on a shopping spree with all my credit cards. I called the police who came and I filed a report. During that process and my back-and-forth with various staff I mentioned that of course I would like to cancel and expect given the extreme circumstance that the cancellation fee would be waved. I was quickly assured that would not be a problem. 6 months go by and I don't hear a word from Mecca until I get a nasty email telling me I owe them over $300 in unpaid membership fees. Shocked, I call them up to discuss. Whoever I talked to told me to email the manager. Manager didn't reply back to me but the billing person did and basically explained that they could care less if my wallet is stolen and since I did not follow some specific sign they claim was posted somewhere that in order to cancel you have to *email* the manager (I guess talking to him or the people reporting directly to him is not enough), they would not consider the verbal agreement at the time valid. Even though I didn't lay foot in the gym since, even though their lack of security (not checking people's membership status during the day) lead to my wallet getting stolen, even though they silently went along for 6 months without communication making it seem settled, they have sent this made-up "bill" to a collections agency. Haven't dealt with a business so vile and greedy before in my life. As for the gym itself, incredibly overrated. You are basically paying double what you should to deal with an overcrowded gym with frequently broken machines and which is a bit filthy at times. Take your money elsewhere!

I'd personally…read morenot listen to the one other terrible review that's left on here, sure there may be a bunch of people at certain times; such as 4-5pm since people are getting off of work. Around 3pm there are quite a bunch of high school students working out (including me). No, people don't film their friends doing sets, no, nobody is barefoot. The machines aren't sticky because you get a RAG and spray to wipe them down if they are ever left with sweat. The staff members are very pleasant, and are present during the times that are displayed on the front desk. If you're all about gym etiquette and are don't like grunting then go ahead and go to planet fitness where that grunting won't be heard over the lunk alarm, jeez. Better yet, get a pair of noise cancelling headphones or earbuds. The staff members clean and vacuum the gym as well as the bathrooms daily before they leave to go home, as this is a 24-hour gym. If there's someone using the machine you need then it's as simple as asking "how many sets do you have left?" and then being patient as said person finishes their workout. Yes, you may see high school students working out in groups and waiting for their friends to do their sets before continuing theirs, just pop a question and you'll get the machine in a few minutes. No, we don't bite. The gym was recently remodeled and looks far different than it does in the displayed photos. There are many more machines than there were a few months ago. There is also an upstairs where you can do yoga and other sort of workouts. There are many options for cardio and there are usually enough machines for everyone since there are so many. There are fans all around the gym that keep it nice and cool inside, it also usually smells good due to the staff cleaning so much. This is the perfect place to improve yourself and your quality of life, go ahead and give it a shot. Pausing and cancelling memberships are also very easy as you don't sign your soul away (unlike other gyms). One recommendation I have is about the music played in the gym, it could be a little better. However, since I am very sensible I bring my own noise cancelling headphones if I want to listen to something else. Thank you for the staff for being very helpful, and thank you to the manager for being very kind.

As per the other poor review, the gym seems to cater to one demographic only. Junior high and high…read moreschool students. No matter when I go, and I've tried multiple locations at multiple times in the afternoon, evening and at night, the gym is OVER RUN by groups of teenagers. They gather in groups of 3-10 - all use their phones, crowd other members. Don't use the cleaning materials provided, walk around with no shoes like they own the place. They let the friends in the doors and don't scan in like other members. I've tried reaching out to club stuff or ownership and get no response. I cannot wait to find a different gym and highly recommend that if you want to workout on clean, accessible equipment you look elsewhere. They seem to have cut a deal with local junior high and high schools to allow access to an unlimited number of teenagers and it ruins the gym for all their other members and they don't seem to care.

Upon wanting to cancel my membership, I was told that it would be cancelled at the end of the month yet upon noticing my card statements, it was not. After reaching out, yet again, they said it would be cancelled and refunded; but surprise, it still wasn't! Now this is when common courtesy flies out the window. Threatens with charges for "trespassing," for "demanding" my money back, and for "threatening HIS staff." Check your cameras before making false claims buddy. Please don't go here, they harass you for wanting to leave their business politely and quietly because they're losing out on money. Plain and simple. This business is not worth the $60 you'll pay EVERY MONTH so please take your business elsewhere!! This business isn't even worth a 1 star, it deserves ZEROOOOOO!

I found Ryan and can't believe my luck. Ryan has it all when it comes to personal training. Ryan certainly has the training/certifications, and it shows during our sessions. He has a full understanding of human musculature and knows how to approach every workout set to maximize safety and gain the most benefit. He focuses on making sure you do everything the right way and explains why you're doing everything he shows you to do. He is really organized, keeping a detailed record of your previous sets/reps/weight to help you constantly grow and improve over time. He has a focus on weight management if you seek that, making recommendations on meal plans, use of calorie tracking apps, and just to add that helpful accountability so you can hit your health goals. He also has a massive and still growing exercise equipment inventory which I've frankly never seen before, and he always leverages the right equipment for the next step in your improvement. If you have any physical limitations, which I have a few, Ryan is always aware of them and helps you to work around them, or improve them, depending on your situation. And although I started out one-on-one, my daughter is now also attending my sessions with me, at NO ADDITIONAL COST, and he works in parallel to support both of us. Seriously, I've never been more motivated to improve, nor more stronger, than I am right now because of Ryan. Finally, he's in a new location providing a lot of room, and he's constantly adding new equipment and high value hardware which in my opinion really makes him second to none in Treasure Valley. I can offer no higher recommendation. Ryan is the first choice for personal training. Period.

He's been so patient and kind in showing me how to properly Use the equipment and explains why we are doing it and how it will benefit my body! I learn something new everyday that I train with him! I really recommend him, not only is he reasonably priced but he's knowledgeable and professional! I'm excited to see what else I am capable of with the help of Ryan! He's an awesome trainer!
