They have used vinyl that is in really good shape and/or new releases/reissues that are $25+ The oldschool stores, less organized, but this place is packed with volume. You will find things organized very loosely but it's rewarding if you have time and a list of things you're after, you may find it. And you may find it at a lower price because you have to dig for it. By digging, I mean getting on the floor and looking on the low shelves they have in some of the tight spaces. I found it fun to do some hunting and seeing what they have and didn't have. No, it would not be a place to go to all the time but one of those places to hit up and check out to see what things they have, it seems they get a fairly good influx of used vinyl. It's also a bit of an oddity shop with some memorabilia and t-shirts and more. It's worth a visit if you like digging a bit, but if you want pretty and well organized, don't go. It is true to it's nature, and that's cool

I'm talking records with swastikas that are banned for sale on most websites. When I asked them they seemed apologetic and said it was an accident, but given how most places price records (and what some of these look like) it feels more like a conscious decision to sell and profit off of racist music than it does an accident. Would suggest they either go through their stock with a fine tooth comb (assuming they care) or just own up to it.

Really friendly staff. Adorable dog sometimes wanders the store. Huge 45 section, lots of CDs and DVDs too. The cons: no new arrivals section which means you need to browse the whole store to see all the new stuff. Also, they have a huge .25 cent selection of junk albums. I sometimes like to buy those primarily for the covers for art or display projects. But they write .25 cents in marker on the front of the cover. I have no problem with marking the outer sleeve but do it on the back! It's on Woodward with that really cramped parking. Overall though, it's a great store! Go there!

The hip hop and indie rock sections were not far behind in terms of their ability to invoke nausea. I guess this place is fine if you're starting out or just want to grab the latest RSD repress of that album that already has dozens of pressings and leave immediately, but don't bother stopping by if you're looking to dig or get excited because this store has nothing to offer actual collectors.
